I agree with your Fourth Wing thoughts completely. It wasn’t more than a 2 or 3 for me. It was just very bland and the writing was just not very good in my opinion. The only thing I enjoyed was Xaden.

just want to mention that fourth wing is more a fun book than a good book. Its actually not that good but i still enjoyed it. However, there is a lack of worldbuilding and character development, and a lack of development in the history or the impending war and it didnt really feel 'high stakes'. It also felt like divergent and hunger games, how to train ur dragon and it little like acotar. very vibey, nothing original.

I think I would be more interested in life of the average person in this world. All of these people are dying as if they are expendable, so exploring the regular person seeing their family members go through this and die and evaluate the politics would be FANTASTIC!

17:29 I'm sorry but what is that horrid cover? Oh my eyes 700-800 pages in 2 days is still very good. No need to push yourself. Reading is not a chore/assignment. It's supposed to be fun. Go at whatever pace you feel confident and comfortable with. I hope the treatment is going well.
