I have an RD1 (1st gen 2000 Honda CRV) and my passenger bulb seems to always go out. Might have same issue, ill check and respond. This might solve issues across multiple generations of CRV.

It definitely could be the same issue. I’ve seen this issue on several cars, across a couple different manufacturers.

Do you remember why the headlight still wouldn’t turn on after the harness swap? Having that problem with my 2009 crv. The headlight only turned on for a few seconds after I installed the new bulb and harness on the driver side then went back out and I can’t get it to come on again. Brights still work. Any help would be appreciated!

It also had a bad headlight bulb.

The yellow thing is a sign that the harness is burnt and needs to be replaced? Where did u order the parts? And what parts?

The plastic housing on the plug is completely melted. Thats why I replaced it. There is a link in the description for the part I used.

My 2006 uses H1 bulb - those new plugs have H4 in the title. Ok to use them on a 2006 ?

You will want to order H1 harnesses.
