Well done to the visitors and members that were brave enough to attend or even run trains/loco's after all the rain we had on Saturday night Sunday morning. We even had Simon travel down from Harrogate with his new 7 1/4 AME loco, Gavin also visiting from the Peterborough area with his 5" Jinty. This ran very well. Welcome to you all.
A very good crowd of members enjoyed some much needed sunshine later in the day.
I was not so brave, the Scot stayed in the van all day.

Glad you enjoyed it Gavin. Next steam up Sunday is the combined boiler testing and running. So we should have a few more steam loco's about to look at, plus traction engines having tests.

It looked a lot drier there than it did here, looks like everybody had a good time the jinty goes well if you know what i mean.

It rained all Saturday evening, all night, stopping around 10.45. With very good drainage the track looked good but very muddy as you can imagine. With us more west than you and the wet weather travelling east you would still have rain by dinner time lol! You would have enjoyed your day. Never mind next time Al. Jinty did run well. Scot stayed in the van.
