He ended up switching companies after a while to get more home time but eventually ended up going back since the new company didn’t come close to melton. Personally I don’t require as much home time as most probably would and as far as purchasing your own equipment, as much as I agree they should definitely provide it, it doesn’t bother me as much that I’d have to buy my own since I came from the automotive industry where I had to purchase probably 20-30k in tools lol. @behonest8658
@behonest8658 Жыл бұрын
Your “gross” versus “net” numbers don’t make sense and don’t add up straight across the board. Is “net” after taxes? Also, you should record how many hours each week you put in for that pay period, and then break it down so you can see what your hourly rate is. That’s equally important for new people to see and do the due diligence to see if it’s worth it. $1800 a week for 40 hours is one thing, but $1800 for 70 hours is something drastically different. Can’t tell if it’s worth it without knowing how many hours a week you are putting in to get those miles in, including wait time and tarping.
@aKEPsoul
@aKEPsoul Жыл бұрын
Net is often more due to per diem plan. That income isn’t taxable. I base everything off an average 60 hours a week as I often do a weekly reset. Good idea to incorporate it into these videos, however I am not sure I’ll continue to do them! Happy New Year
