"How dirty can a rubber get?" was when I knew they couldn't be talking about what I was thinking about..... obviously they get dirty?? "with what"?!?!

@@Maialeen he obviously means because rubber means condom in America. Granted it does mean that in the UK as well but it also means eraser, which it doesn't in America to my understanding. Therefore being American was a vital part of his comment which is key to explaining why he thought the video was about condoms and not rubbing pencil mistakes out with. Had we assumed he was British then we would have assumed he was an idiot. Luckily he had the foresight to clarify his country of origin which explained his thought process

I think they are probably aware of this double meaning which makes their lack of acknowledgment even more funny! Great story! I guessed it was true straight away as it is the kind of thing kids in primary school with an early entrepreneurial cool would get away with! A friend once got £2 out of me for a poster of Peter Andre! 😂

What does a rubber mean in the UK? In the US it means a condom

I am also in the U.S. and it took me a bit to figure it out. It's an eraser... like the standalone rubber erasers, not the one that's on the back of a pencil.
