what you just did with one lil puller Loco and 6 people, would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and taken crews of workers. (Yes i understand it WAY different on the U.S Gauge, and way faster speeds too. ) Great job. Love the way the train just smushes its way ahead.

The locomotive opens a narrow gauge 700 mm line. The line is for transporting sugar cane from the plantation to the factory. The locomotive was made in Japan in 1976 The rail is only passed during the sugarcane harvest season, from May to August

Судя по последним происшествиям на железных дорогах США.... По их количеству на единицу времени... Может ты не будешь говорить что как то далеко ушли от этих мабоев? the train opens the line for the sugarcane harvest season in late may. because the rail was built in 1928 and until now it has not been upgraded, the rail maja is buried in the ground. Most of the sugar factories in Java are made in the Netherlands and were built before Indonesia's independence.

Harusnya jalur seperti itu dirawat bersama... Rell nya kan bisa dipakai bersama buat angkutan para petani.... Tidak perlu pake lokomotif pakai gerobak dengan roda modif model kereta kan bisa juga di manfaatkan.....

that was really impressive.....I was amazed the locomotive could get traction on the rails with the vegetation especially really wet vegetation that would be slippery......crossing those roads and busting the tracks back open was great too....well done

asphalt workers thought that the rail was no longer in use and it turned out that the rail was still being used to transport sugar cane from the plantation to the sugar factory

I love these little side-of-road operations. Railroads are so flexible, and provide a method to haul heavy loads with little preparation. There used to be a lot of this in rural Europe, largely using left over equipment from the WW-I military railroads.

because this rail line is still original from 1928 when the Dutch colonized Indonesia. so now the train line is starting to be covered with grass. and it takes a lot of money to lift the rail up. so the existing track is maximized, the important thing is that it can still be passed by locomotives

@@laurensvisser7623 yes, there is a tour package at this sugar factory. It's very good to visit during the sugarcane harvest season from the end of May to the end of August. The location is in East Java and access is very easy to visit. The name of the sugar factory is PG Semboro, located in Jember, East Java, Indonesia

because this is a narrow rail line and was built from 1928 and until now the original rails have never been replaced. the train speed is limited to only 5-10 km/hour

it's not that there are no improvements, but under certain conditions the route is always maintained and repaired. because the sugarcane harvest season in Indonesia is only three months from May to August, only light maintenance is important, the locomotive can still pass it and this route is specifically for sugar cane transportation, not for human transport .and the speed of the locomotive is limited to a maximum of 10 km/hour

Seharusnya JALUR LORI di rawat oleh pegawai Pabrik Gula yg membidangi ANGKUTAN TEBU. Termasuk jalur lori yg melewati jalan ASPAL. Koordinasikan Dng Dinas PU Jasa Marga Pegawai nya Jangan Cuma *KELONAN* saja dan terima gaji buta.

Как показывает видео и лом не нужен. У нас бы три года средства "осваивали" на организацию переезда, и на четвертый сказали-бы "денег не хватает и мы ничего не можем сделать". Есть тому ярчайший пример В Питере, на Тепловозной улице(Рыбацкое). Правда у нас обратная ситуация - не могут(или не хотят) демонтировать участок жд который остался только под дорогой и больше никуда не ведет, из-за которого невозможно сделать нормально дорогу.

it's a 700 mm narrow-rail gauge locomotive. the locomotive weighs 14 tons to transport sugarcane from the garden to the sugar factory

Anggaran dan tenaga perawatam jln yg besar di buat beli yg lain,shg tumbuh rumput liar ,hampir di mana2 jd semak belukar akibat abai dgn yg dianggap sepele. Koordinanasii pihak terkait tdk nyambung,tdk pula risi dgn kondisi spt itu.elok memang merawat lbh berat .

A heavy duty grass cutting add on to the train mayby a good idea? Also two Tillers on th train that can cut groves on the ground on the inside of the rails for the weel flances? And something blow out sand and stuff in groows in concrete with compressed air. Very nice narrow gauge rail ohtervice, is it for transport of goods ?and what ,? Agricultural ? Air?

This narrow train line was built in 1928 and until now the rails and wooden sleepers are still original. Why isn't this train equipped with a bucket like a loader? Residents' houses did not yet exist and the development of the population was very fast, so residents' houses appeared. This train was for sugar cane transportation and the diesel locomotive used was the Hokuriku Juki Kogyo made in Japan in 1976 and until now it can still be used because the quality of products from Japan is no longer used. This narrow rail network was built by the Dutch during 1928 when the Dutch colonized Indonesia

because there is new asphalt and the asphalt is still soft. the locomotive immediately runs over it and forms a cavity where the rails are covered with asphalt

This train line is only used once a year only during the sugarcane harvest season. After the harvest season is over, this line is let back for the next year again.

It doesn't make sense. The reason why there are few new Railways being built is due to the cost of building them. But then they let the infrastructure go to waste by not utilising it?

This all fascinates me, confuses me, and bewilders me. Are there no right-of-way laws there? And the workers aren't wearing yellow or anything, just standing in the streets and waving their arms. Traffic looks like stopping is optional. Apparently no railbed upkeep either. Quite amusing. It reminds me of the movie 'The Gods Must Be Crazy'.

Just people using experience and improvisation, and getting on with things. Daily exposure to tricky situations keeps you alert; whereas daily protection by health-and-safety regulations makes you complacent. If the actions demonstrated in the video were attempted here in Europe, there would be heavy casualties within minutes. In Indonesia, it mostly just works out fine.
