I love chatterers tooth as a concept! Especially with the stealth addition to it. Although it does have some problems. You could do the pinhead stand on box thing and block the match, and you could also equip Franklin's and consistently keep survivors off it to have the chain hunts going. Nevertheless, great video as always Otz!

As a Pinhead main, see someone actully find use to this add-on is cool, maybe I should try it instead of the usual, find the box with Lethal or Hoarder, use other perks instead of the same build

Face The Darkness might be a solid replacement for this build, imo. You're getting Undetectable from the tooth, and it increases the instances that survivors scream and stop what they are doing. Maybe I'm wrong but I'll try it out myself. Thank you for the idea Otz!

i have always loved the chatterers tooth, especially when i time it that the undetectable runs out when im carrying a survivor which then activates starstruck, which is just absolutely devastating against most survivors

I hope you acutally find this comment. I use similar (idea) builds on wraith and pig/ghostie. The star of the show is Hex: Face the darkness. Every survivor screams every 25 seconds outside your terror radius, well wraith, amanda and ghostie don't have any (most of the time). You can use thrill of the hunt to make cleansing devour take 28 seconds, so it makes it nearly impossible to cleanse it if you adjust your playstyle accordingly. Last perk i slap is lethal pursuer which ensures i get someone injured at the start quickly. Also Hex: Face the darkness reveals auras for 2 seconds which gets complimented by lethal pursuer nicely. Lastly screaming can interupt jigsaw boxes as well, although not very reliable.

I've been playing a LOT of stealth builds on all killers and man, playing that way is quite refreshing with most of them! Also, it's insane how strong Spies From The Shadows is while survivors have no idea where you even are.

Fun fact about the first game: they cleansed the thrill of the hunt totem first, but because of undying, it transferred all 5 of the thrill tokens over to the undying totem, making the second cleanse just as long as the first cleanse. Nice.

Also it could be very strong with face the darkness. I’ve been trying out a build with dredge that uses malthinker’s skull and part of that build is Face the Darkness. When nightfall happens people right next to me will scream. Imagine hitting a couple of people with Sloppy, and then going to pick up the box. You’ll be able to easily keep tabs on everyone.

The thing with DbD is that it’s often hard to tell who played good and who didn’t. Especially if we talk about killers that are less mechanical than tactical

Another perk of this addon that I didn't notice Otz mention, is that it gives you some information on map distribution of the players based on its spawn location.

Pinhead is one of my favorite killers to play. I genuinely have fun when I play him and I think there’s always more you can learn and do better with every match. Always challenges me to be better when I play him!

Chatterer tooth is very good for camping, hook someone next to the cube and keep them away from both and they'll never be able to save or stop the chain hunt

3:23 When you called it as a bluff and seconds later the box showed it was I was mind blown lol. The Bill waving got me so hard I 100% thought that they were about to get the pallet save on pickup

can you do an Oni movement speed build? The haste status affect also applies to demon dash so with play with your food (+15%) and add Ons (+21%) you can get +36% max movement speed making you 235.5% faster than the average dbd killer when demon dashing. . . . . . its really fun especially when you get play with your food stacks when your demon dashing, and you get to see how much faster you are.

i really enjoy watching these videos since i very rarely catch a stream and or have the time to watch a longer stream

This add on seems best with franklins. Because you won't pick up the box when dowing the survivor. You can even camp the box to constantly get the chain hunt going.

me and my friends went up against a pinhead who just sat on the box and we were stuck in permanent chain hunt. His perks were: ruin, undying, noed and i don't remember the 4th perk. We had a rough time doing gens and totems since we kept getting chained constantly interrupted and it tooook a loooong time, eventually we figured out how to beat him and got out but i wont say how ;-)!!!

I just had a thought watching this video. What if there was a slight change to hex totem where at the start of the match they are unactive until you choose a totem to activate on. Essentially preventing the random spawn of the hex allowing you to place it where you want it.

I think Face the Darkness might be worth a shout instead of DMS, for even more random screams. Since you'll be undetectable a lot of the time, everyone will be vulnerable to screams

In the second match otz calling Adam a drama queen while being literally impaled by a spike log thing and having hooks in every possible part of his body while being sent to the underworld was amazing.

Loving the edits that highlight the 3 unbreakable icons and single survivor without it. And seeing your load out at the bottom of the screen with you having 10.5k hours was hilarious and eye opening haha

Between this video and recent matches, I've found making a build based entirely around addon(s) to be very fun and refreshing as killer, maybe just the forethought and planning that goes into it

I watched RedsGamingGears on stealth pinhead a month and a half ago too! Reds build is stronger but yours plays very unique and depending on the playstyle of the individual it can work better for multiple people 👍. Very cool video 😎

Wow thats crazy. I remember being in the stream and I made a comment saying use his undetectable add on. Im sure you were just doing it under your own influence but still cool to see it as a vid!

also another thing this build does: survivors doing the cube does not hurt you at all since you are expected to most of the time be without the active hunt anyways them taking the cube up is bad for them, as you will know where they are, since you knew the cube location

I'm impressed you are able to keep playing this game despite the state it is in. Wanted to have some casual fun with 2 friends, all of us brought streamers and flans to benefit everyone. Of course we go up against a tombstone myers doing everything to speedrun the game and we all suffered for it bp wise. Stuff like this keeps happening and I'm losing hope in this game.

Already mentioned a bit in the comments, but Maybe could use the Knight's perk, Hex: Face The Darkness to increase random screams, especially with the new and improved tooth stealth addon? More scarems, more DMS, more survs off totems. Maybe replace with Thrill out of the build :) seems nice

Just a quick info for everyone running devour on pinhead: Hitting someone with a chain already reveals it. And I don't mean injuring someone with engineers fang. No, just hitting a normal chain reveals devour

I use this addon everytime. People never expect it and the 25s stealth give you 1/2 grab almost each game. Very strong purple addon

13:42 I think the wall looks big enogh to hide one side of your arrival. With luck you could get a hit there(if you would have come from the left when hes checking the right). Im not sure though if he waited if he could drop the pallet when you lunge or hide your red stain when coming from the left side(or the oposite of your side of coming). A question: you probably cant sit in the middel of the pallet and drop it last second(with or without lunge). A nother question coming to my mind: does the lunge actually "lunge" i.e. extending cause the wiki only tells you the duration of the lungeboost. Great video as always

Small rant but 4:30 is the exact reason I hate dead hard. Not because she used it , or even had it. But because it’s very existence forces you to play around something that might not even exist, so Nea gets a free pallet drop into extending the chase for over a minute, because of a perk she DIDNT use

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't played dead by daylight in almost 2 years. But I really appreciate your content because not only does it show me new stuff, but also shows other or new players that there are various capabilities with types of killers and survivors.

Whenever I see someone tell me that this game is Killer-sided, I see teams like the one in Game 1. Had they not gotten unlucky with the totem and nailed your Devour, that would have been a clean 4-man escape with less than 6 hooks. I think DBD is pretty well solved by this point; if you're not Nurse, Blight or Spirit, you're at the mercy of any SWF who actually knows how to play and coordinate.

Fun fact: the reason pin head and chatterers hand has weird openings in the glove is because it's very uncomfortable, which they derive pleasure from

(And possibly others) You probably won’t see this because it’s an older vid but I was tryna find more builds for pinhead to get back into the killer and found someone with this exact build but swapping thrill of the hunt for face the darkness. Been trying it for a bit and it’s been pretty fun yet I haven’t been getting a lot of wins. I was wondering if you or anyone else had any comments on the perks synergy/strategies/addon usage with this particular build. If so it would be a big help!

A Pro Cenobite here, when you hit them with the chains there is like 0.5 -1 second after they drop the last chain, where they can't use dead hard. When you hit them with the chain, just commit to one direction do not try to mind the game, or you lose a lot of tempo.

I genuinely feel like the dead hard "nerf" was a huge buff. Survivors now get a free health state and even more distance than before if it lands, and doing it at pallets almost guarantees it (or a pallet drop). It definitely needs another change.

Finally the best add on in dbd history is getting covered.

Need an advanced tutorial on how to use the chain portal. Survivors in my lobbies are getting very good at dodging them.

You need a closed map and take undetectable and aura perks and this can do.

This add-on IMO isn't bad even if you don't use its intended effect and just kind of work around knowing where the cube is so they don't pick it up

Honestly I’m not a huge fan of this addon so I can’t wait to see how this video goes
