Fun fact: Akechi’s mask from his white costume is based on masks worn in Commedia dell’arte, a centuries old style of Italian theatre that incorporates intricate masks into the performances. The style of mask can tell you something about the character. A mask like Akechi’s, with a long nose, indicates that the character is a liar, adding to the narrative that Akechi was withholding the truth from the Phantoms and that he wasn’t as inconspicuous as he thought he was.

@@tenshiakuma6217 Nothing official, unfortunately. Megami Tensei fandom website describes it as a Venetian mask, which alludes to Commedia, which is Venetian/Italian theatre. However, upon further inspection Wikipedia describes it as being based on Tengu. I can see both but considering the rest of his outfit is European in style so I’m leaning more toward commedia.

Thing is: he probably has enough money to not eat art supplies, at least; the problem is he keeps on spending excessive amounts *on* art supplies so they’re all he has. It’s probably the reason why, even if I had as much money as Joker /w confusion grinding, I wouldn’t loan him money and instead treat him to meals on the regular

All of these are great (I personally really liked the lobster joke and the cereal bit, but all of them made me laugh), and the art was also great (I don’t know why, but Yusuke’s face when he was taking about not eating art supplies cracked me up). And all the voice actors did amazing, the line delivery made some of these jokes.
