Earbuds have existed since the 50s. They're not a new thing. I guess the new thing is that there are earbuds now which actually stay in your ear, which is amazing, going my whole life with I guess tiny ears, but now there's the wireless ones they have to be made to not fall out, and so now I can headbang to some song with them in and they don't fall out. Like why would you complain about that? That's a great thing, a great advancement in technology and ergonomics With boomers, they had their early adult life a lot easier. Welfare was much higher than it is now, university could be paid for with just a part time job, a single person in a couple working at a fast food place was enough to pay for an actual house etc. Unless you were black. But I don't think the black boomers are calling for a return to the 50s and segregation, obviously.

okay but like... i was born in 2006 and i watched popeye all my childhood. i even had a borderline unhealthy obsession with spinach when i was younger and another with milk that hasnt gone away. and i know that me knowing popeye isnt just some crazy thing for my generation, cus ill hum the "popeye the sailor man" bit of the theme song and sometimes my peers know what im humming. not everyone does, but not many of my peers get all of my references. thats just normal. its like saying that gen z has no clue who lucy is. just because we werent alive when the idea first popped into someones head, doesnt mean we arent aware of what spawned from that idea.

That scene is a prequel scene, so he goes in the war corner he leaves but returns back because of ww3 he still stays in the corner but leaves and starts a new life he has a baby but he gets divorced when the kid is 10. Danny returns to the corner and never returns to real world and one day his son finds him and the vine happens and after it ends. His son leaves accepting he will never seen his father ever again and danny returns to his war corner and he secretly has food and the last remains of his old life, is the nutcracker guy. He dies 3 years later. And so does the nutcracker guy. He had good life in his own way. And he died enjoying the warmth of his corner with the nutcracker guy as well. Eventually his son returns and Abandons his son he had a while ago and his wife too. He spends the rest of his life in there. The kids son lives and forgets he ever had a dad.. but the kid joins the war corner and it’s clear it’s a curse. His family line keeps going but the curse ends when the kids girlfriend tells the son and his girlfriend to escape far away or they will be in danger, and they did and the curse ended.
