I swear to God, I’ve been deathbed sick and they’re still trying to figure out what’s wrong and I’m unable to eat…so I sit and watch MeMe cook bc it reminds me of home. BUT…we made her apple dumplings and holy crap they’re good. Best I’ve ever ate, so I’m living off ginger ale and MeMe’s dumplings! Thank you.

MeMe I use you work for a restaurant back in the 80’s and we served AppleDumplings and we would pour hot syrup on them and my Sunday night crowd loved ice cream on top of the them. We didn’t sell them that way but for my Sunday night crowd I would. There was where I had the opportunity to Bless others and see them smile... It brought me more joy seeing them just smile, they never knew what it meant to me.... Our Dumplings were about big as your fist..

I made these and thought I had 7-up... but it was ginger ale. I did not want to go to the store again, so I used it. And I tell you, it was DELICIOUS! That ginger just added so much.🍏🍎 😍

I want to come stay at MeMe’s house. I love your videos because they remind me so much of Sunday family meals at my mother-in-laws house. She passed away in 2008 & my father-in-law & husband passed last year 7 days apart so Sunday dinners are not the same anymore. Thank you for sharing your precious recipes & videos because they mean a lot to people like me.

I am so glad I found you on here. You have inspired me to cook/bake. I’ve never been much of a cook, but I’m learning. I so enjoy your videos and find them to be easy enough for me to follow. I’ve always been very intimidated in the kitchen. You remind me of my grandmother; such a classy, christian lady. Diane ~ I don’t have glass or ceramic casserole dishes. Will a cake pan work just as well? Or maybe use a glass deep pie dish? Do I have to adjust temp or time for using a metal pan? I would be cutting the recipe in half, and using Gala apples. The Granny Smiths available right now aren’t the best. Thank you!
