You know she did a comedy special "Here and Now" and it's on KZfaq. Where small talk was the beginning topic. Well, she says "If I can help, this is what I always do say something about Gloria Estafan. Wait, what does that have to do with copper plumbing. She's strong, sturdy, reliable, look how she come back after bus accident. LOL

The best bit was when God brought up Gloria Estefan's hair while in conversation with Ellen... Actually, the topic wasn't small talk, it was if you drift off while someone is talking to you and you have to say something to not make it known that you drifted off.

Another funny phenomenon is that many of us are so glued to the smartphone - all comes along with "small talk" everywhere, in all the OS's and the variety of apps that does messaging. So, why do we still do this nonsense when we see people in person?!? Maybe extend a warmer welcoming of "true talk" with "genuine people" instead.

thank you very much for being here i appriciate you coming today and i you know as you know Iam not just talk show host also i'm cover girl. and fall over talk show host and cover girl's job is a I have to a lot of in advance and I have talk a lot . and usually I love talking , i love taking an people and you know last week I was an event I saw the woman cross the room and you didn't know each other but call each other dijai? and we new of each other because we busy and she started has told me and I am thinking of small talk. cause happen we don't know somebody she works over and I you know hihi nice to meet you nice to meet you she said nice to meet you how are you ? good good you how are you good? good how's work? great work is great you busy? busy yes good of busy we happied be busy you know this is nice, isn't it? it is nice this is pretty way of decorate that sure is cold yeah outside or here? yes out . cold everythere. so cold. everythere winter. and you know possess between we longer I am not gonna draw out for you she was completed recomportable possess just complete there silent as up to me keep the conversation going because I'm talk show host of my job to keep make in a small talk and so run out of things you do did you hear get a traffic here ? yeah I did crazing traffic. Why do Americans need the small talk to make the conversations? You may just ask anything you need to know. Or say everything you really need to say. Without a small talk.
