Mt husband is a Vietnam Veteran, my dad was a world War 2 veteran. Both our boys were In the service one in the navy 20 years,our son army desert storm. We respect our veterans and honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.

I am not a veteran yet I thank those that are from the bottom of my heart. Only you know what it is to serve I can only imagine. My father served in Korea, my older brothers in Vietnam. Many friends, some lost. I admire and appreciate your sacrifice. May God bless and comfort you all. You are heroes. Thank you

Freedom does not come free. It’s paid for by those who give the ultimate sacrifice to preserve it for the people of their country. They deserve to be recognized everyday so at least think of them for this day set aside in their honor.

Lellobeetle I have recently come to learn something that changes my view of Reagan a bit. He was responsible for signing the bill in California that created the no fault divorce. It was the start of what has become the complete destruction of males in family court. No longer does a female have to prove anything to get a divorce and she is handsomely rewarded for breaking the marriage contract. Aside from that he was the greatest president of my lifetime. I just had to reveal that truth about him

This day each year has such a profound affect on me and I hope so very much people realize just what Memorial Day means. I'm so blessed that i was allowed to return home and that was exactly what My Heavenly Father wanted for me to do! Men who were right beside me didn't come home alive. God bless all who served and are serving. May the Lord bring you home safely.

I watched this in school today Friday May 24 and I had tears in my eyes because I knew that millions fought and died. I have a lot of people in my family that was in the military but none I know that was KIA in the military. I hope to be the next person in my family to be in the military

Just know from my stand point of being in the Military there are good dudes and bad dudes. Just like any other job in the world, not all of us in the past present and future are bad. These are the guys that gave us the right to be so angry and abrasive to each other in todays toxic environment, yet always able to move beyond where we are...maybe they would appreciate a better approach? Either way, we really need to keep saying thank you. I am crying. Thanks to whoever put this together.
