Mt husband is a Vietnam Veteran, my dad was a world War 2 veteran. Both our boys were In the service one in the navy 20 years,our son army desert storm. We respect our veterans and honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.

I am not a veteran yet I thank those that are from the bottom of my heart. Only you know what it is to serve I can only imagine. My father served in Korea, my older brothers in Vietnam. Lellobeetle I have recently come to learn something that changes my view of Reagan a bit. He was responsible for signing the bill in California that created the no fault divorce. It was the start of what has become the complete destruction of males in family court. No longer does a female have to prove anything to get a divorce and she is handsomely rewarded for breaking the marriage contract. Aside from that he was the greatest president of my lifetime. I just had to reveal that truth about him

This day each year has such a profound affect on me and I hope so very much people realize just what Memorial Day means. I'm so blessed that i was allowed to return home and that was exactly what My Heavenly Father wanted for me to do! Men who were right beside me didn't come home alive. I watched this in school today Friday May 24 and I had tears in my eyes because I knew that millions fought and died. I have a lot of people in my family that was in the military but none I know that was KIA in the military. I hope to be the next person in my family to be in the military
