I have really appreciated this episode. Hoping to have some resources in Spanish. Literature guides would be amazing! :) Blessings from Nicaragua! Thank you.

I'd love to hear/see some of the resources the dual language schools use in Spanish!! I used to be a dual language teacher and I want to do some of that with my children, but there are so few resources out there for homeschoolers in Spanish.

Do the dual language schools also include Latin? I would love for my children to have all three in their educational armory.

How do small schools that don’t have school choice, ESA, etc. provide scholarships for low income families?

They might not be elitist in tuition rate and high socioeconomic class, but it’s elitist in that most do not accept neurodivergent children.

Cheryl Swope wrote an amazing book called Simply Classical A Beautiful Education for Any Child. MP publishes it, I found it very helpful.

If you're speaking to a brick and mortar school I'm not sure that's fair for many reasons, but the reason that affects me the most would be that i wouldn't be able to afford it period. So even if all of my kids were typical i still couldn't afford that.

MP publishes a robust curriculum, called Simply Classical, geared towards children of differing abilities. Cheryl Swope, as mentioned above, is the author. She’s been featured on this podcast.

I have four ND kiddos and all are doing MP curriculum. We homeschool because the public schools were not meeting their needs. Our district spends $50,000+ per student, per year on special needs students (therapists, paraprofessionals, special ed teachers, direct transportation etc.). We are getting MUCH better results at home in 1.5 - 2 hours per day. "Mainstreaming" in my experience, is bad for the ND kids and disrupts the NT kids.

I’ve read the book twice through. I definitely try hard, I have 2 in a brick and mortar classical school and one I homeschool. Cheryl I know now advocates for brick and mortar schools to include more students who “struggle”. It’s been a hard 3 years with one of my children feeling very left out of the school experience. It’s actually caused me to be quite discontent with the school, but that’s my own issue. Thanks for the input though 💕
