As someone who watched Drifting Home just an hour ago, I'm really sad seeing the low recognition this movie got. This is definitely the most beautiful anime media I've ever seen, and one of the best entertainment media ever. Every scene left my eyes watery. No doubt, this is the most underrated anime movie ever.

I wholeheartedly agree that this desperately deserves recognition, especially for the voice acting given its one of the most wholesome movies I have ever seen personally!!! (Both Daiki Yamashita and Mutsumi Tamura did an excellent job in their vocal performances; it’s so emotional yet a lot of fun to watch!!!) 🥹🫶

0:24-0:27 this line hits extra hard once you realise that if kosuke would have never said what he said to natsume yasuji would have probably survived because he wouldnt need to get out of his bed to tell kosuke to go and apologize, and even if he didnt kosuke and natsume wouldn't miss saying one last goodbye to him

Really a good anime ...I really love the storyline was plotted to bring a happy ending in the end..Noppo kun was really cute 🌼 the msg was conveyed nicely.. just loved it💚

Everything changes. So you have to change and let the past go. I searched for the message of this film and realized what the movie was trying to tell me. This movie is a masterpiece. I never expected anything like this, such a great and beautiful story. Such a beautiful experience like Your Name and Weathering with you.

Yes, yes, we all know Bryce Papenbrook is Kosuke, but can we admire that John DiMaggio, aka Bender and Jake the Dog is the grandpa? And yes, I know he does more than that, but Bender’s my go-to guy for chuckles.

I'm writing a crossover fanfic focused around "Silent Hill" and I was planning to involve Noppo in the story, but here's the thing... I would like to involve two older Kosuke and Natsume in the story, but, should they be teenagers or adults in a relationship ? What would you people be more interested in reading ? Oh ! And, should I involve Reina and her friend in the story ? While the other boys might have been somewhat useless sometimes (that's one of my two complaints regarding this movie), I wasn't that uninterested in her and her friend's story as I was in the boys. In fact, I think the adventure helped Reina grow a bit as a person, as she seemed to understand she couldn't waste all of her strengths in pursuing something unnatainable (in this case the love of an uninterested guy in exchange for the love of someone who was already by her side). Natsume almost did that mistake with the building, and it nearly costed her self love. Anyway, back to Reina, I wouldn't mind seeing her grow a bit more.
