With over 50 red deer roars under my belt, there are a lot of great memories, great hunters and great trophy stags from the red deer range in South East Queensland, home to the historic herd of Windsor Park deer. I will start to roll them out for you now.

About 6 years ago I was lucky enough to get a nice double 6 in the MT Stanley area. Me and the property owner split the carcass up for the freezer. Some stunning country up that way!

G'day Clark. Were the dogs in on that hunt related to Chocky, Skunk and Mossy? As someone who hasn't hunted deer yet could I ask if you had to choose between a scoped .303 sporter and a scoped 45/70 (handloaded) for sitting over known game areas or calling in to my wheelchair, what would you choose? Chancy dog is from our oldest line, slightly related to Mossy. best man to talk to would be Gary Read who hunts from a chair. He will be up here tomorrow and we will be chasing stags next week so look for another clip very soon
