Take a look how Birmingham use to look many moons ago.

How grateful we must be, to the early creation of photography, and moving film, and those who recorded our past. I'm Birmingham born, (1941) and the family moved to the west country when I was 13. But despite all the War damage, I do remember many of the great victorian buildings, that escaped Hitler's bombs. Many thanks for sharing this excellent slice of history.

The flickering makes photos that are already out of focus even harder to see.

Sorry about the flickering, this was an early project we did and since then have removed the flickering in future vlogs.

Good selection of photos. Can I suggest you redo the video without the flickering effect? It detracts from the enjoyment?

Unfortuantly i cant change it now its on KZfaq, it was an early test video, from the feesback all newer uploads dont have the flicker.

I agree. I was watching it in a dark room, and it gave me a headache. Thanks for taking the comments on board. Other than that, a great little montage. Thank you for sharing

6:26 'Picturesque' is probably the last word I would use to describe Handsworth nowadays...

You can tell the period by the traffic, styles of cars, trolley and diesel buses and trains and planes with the aircraft (looked 1960s early 70s?).

yES, IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT, i ALWAYS CHECK OUT THE MOTERISED VEHICLES, AND FREEZE THE FRAME TO STUDY THE MORE INTERESTING IMMAGES.
