Helo JR... I keep on watching your videos, its pretty good and useful. I have a query, kindly answer it on ur free time. 1. Am planning to upgrade my car speakers with component speakers. 2. Most of the people fix the component speakers in the front doors and the normal speakers in the back door. But am thinking to fix the component speakers for front and back doors. Is it good ? It will impact something ? Need your inputs. 3. Also am planning to fix an amplifier without an subwoofer as of now, may be later I will plan for subwoofer. Do I need to fix the amplifier if only I have the subwoofer in my car ? Or can I use the amplifier only for the front and back door speakers including the tweeters? May be my queries are bit lengthy, but it's common. You may get these kind of questions from many. Thanks in advance.

As far as sound quality, going from the ms60 or 62 to the 60c is there a difference? Is it worth the extra money? Will that better crossover make a noticeable difference?

The tonal quality is comparable for these models. You do get a bit more power handling moving to the Memphis Audio MS60C.

@@crutchfield I still I have the monsoon speakers, I just got a new pioneer radio installed, I’m going to get 2 sundown 15s for the trunk but I don’t know what door speakers to get.

What is the RMS watts that the subwoofers will be getting from the amp? Are you using a sealed or a ported box? Thinking about your EQ preferences (i.e. bass, treble, etc...) is there a specific level you usually set each band at?

@@crutchfield I don’t have the speakers yet, I want to buy them all at one time but I don’t know what door speakers to go with, the sundown 15s will be 2000 watts though.

@@crutchfield No mine is not HYBRID AND it does not have factory Navigation. i have Kenwood 4707s head unit that i bought from you guys im looking for component speakers and a 4 channel amp. looking to buy if the price is right.

Where's the bass? I have a pair MS62 in the front and MS52 in rear doors of my car powered by a Kenwood Excellon head unit. They are loud enough for me and are crystal clear with zero distortion, but where is that thump I'm used to? I'm not talking about bass you'll feel two blocks away, just the normal feel you get when John Bonham, Neil Peart, or Lars Ulrich are pounding on their drums. I got into my mom's Impala with factory speakers, was listening to The Little Drummer Boy with my kids and I could feel the vibration even at moderate volume levels. Even DMX has no bass in my car. It's loud and clear, just no thump. I've tried increasing the bass level on the EQ and Bass Boost settings, but it makes it sound more like crap without the added punch in my chest feel. Even my sh!tty factory Subaru speakers and head unit had more bass "feel" to them. I had the same experience in my previous vehicle with Mclass speakers and a lower tier Kenwood head unit. Is it a crossover setting or ???

Kenwood radios typically have a high pass filter on them that could block bass from speakers connected to it. You might check to make sure that's not turned on.
