What’s happening in this Men in Black International movie clip?
Agent M (Tessa Thompson from Thor Ragnarok and Creed) is receiving a brief by Agent O (Emma Thompson from Love Actually and Nanny McPhee) on how to act and dress. She gets fitted with a black suit and receives all the gadgets, except the neuralyzer, as she is still on a probation period. At the same time in London, Agent H (Chris Hemsworth from Thor and Avengers) is drinking and gambling with other aliens. In the middle of the table, there’s a cage with a very poisonous snake, where they have to put their hands on and take a card. However, Agent H is spotted for being a Men in Black, and even if he tries to deny it, he gets attacked by behind and strangled. He manages to kill most of the guys attacking him using the snake.

What the Men in Black saga is about?
Men in Black are Secret Agents working for a highly funded yet unofficial government agency. They regulate everything about aliens on Earth.
The first three Men in Black movies are starring Will Smith (from Seven Pounds and Hitch) and Tommy Lee Jones (from U.S. Marshals).
In 2019, a new Men in Black has been released with Chris Hemsworth (from Thor and Avengers) and Tessa Thompson (from Thor Ragnarok and Creed).

Hey man this is a new MIB series okay it's not based on the old one get it Will Smith is in hot demand and he was bankable so before that s*** he pulled at the academy awards that's why I didn't show up in Independence Day 2 okay they decide to go a different route and to keep it under budget and I'm glad they did because this is a new legacy reboot and it make as much money but what the f*** man it's time to go in a New direction Will Smith had an attitude and hey man I'm the hottest guy in the Hollywood whatever b**** actors are always replaced in fire so therefore I'm glad they made this particular version that ain't got nothing to do with MIB this is a new direction so deal with it I have

"Attachement issue" what? O says like she's been on this job for short time and tries to change it now as she is the woman in the agency. She's been in MiB since 60's. Last movie told us. It's a shame that there is an MiB movie that makes want to rewatch first 3 more with every scene that is not funny or in details contradicts previous entries. This is scene is the scene I stormed out of the cinema. J was recruited because of his exceptional skills as a policeman. WE SAW IT. He chased down an alien that K himself said was pretty amazing. M is recruited because the movie TELLS us she is good. Nothing more. This movie is nothing but a quick cash grab. Shame for the great cast and great director.

The only parts of the movie I had shit with was with the B story of her being best friends with the furry alien fugitive, that shit sucked hard The plot though with MIB being infiltrated by malevolent aliens? That was cool, only problem was it was directed and ran into the ground as they went at it with the same humor as Avengers and Thor Ragnorok

I don't think people realize that "men in black" has been a phrase longer than the films, which took their name from the phrase. It references how government agents would be mystery men in black suits who show up, operate under false aliases, do their shady business, and then vanish without a trace. The joke in the first MIB is that "men in black" really is the name of an organization, not just a phrase.

@@labinot1363 that would be an interesting side plot: (and sorry, i forgot what her name is) When she first found the Mib, O would look at her with shock and extreme annoyance & frustration, and wants her neuralized and thrown out. But "Thor in Black" just happens to be in HQ at that time and barely convinced O to let him take care of it, but inevitably dragged her into the mess. During this crisis, she started seeing stuff (i.e. aliens, landmarks, Mib tech)that she found familiar and getting weird flashbacks. Until one point, she finally realized that the reason she had all those flashbacks is because she DID found the Mib HQ and got neuralized each time (prior to each failed job interview at the start of the film), and is also why O is treating her like $**t. Once the crisis is resolved, O finally made her Agent M, and annoyingly deadpanned that "now M is never allow to resign, considering that she manages to find Mib even after being neuralized for * times."

Here's where this film went wrong: 1. It never should have existed. 2. The concept of having an international mib is ridiculous as its an American thing. 3. It took the seriousness of it and threw it out the window. 4. Just about every aspect of it had to be shoehorned full of needless comedy. 5. The aliens look like they were made for a Disney film. 6. Deus ex machina AF. 7. The recruitment scene was incredibly cringy instead of badass. 8. Somehow they managed to make me hate Liams character as a character. 9. It has almost no relevance to the previous films. 10. Humanity has to know about aliens after this film and there's no way they don't. 11. The idea that aliens still haven't utterly ruined earth despite mib having nearly all dipshit recruits.

I agree with everything on this list except for 2. I can totally understand that the MIB can be international. It would also make sense that the US is the "spaceport" of the earth and every alien would land there. But aliens can cause problems everywhere. So it would also make sense to have some guys in every corner of the world. Besides, the US could get very crowded if every alien just stayed there.

@@labinot1363 The Earth isn't a tourist spot, its neutral ground for alien refugees in the area already. There's only a couple thousand aliens at a time and most are in Manhattan.

The suit up scene is absolutely terrible. Basically it's a new step in the protagonist's life. Instead of showing how impactful the scene is they make it super edgy. They could have done something like the suit up scene in the first MIB, Kingsmen or even John Wick
