Hansle Parchment of Jamaica won a surprise gold medal in the men's 110m hurdles final, finishing the race in 13.05 seconds to take the Olympic title. The Jamaican beat world champion Grant Holloway to the line in a thrilling final. Holloway won silver and Jamaica's Ronald Levy bronze.

Yes ! Hansel Parchment is the best champion of the Tokyo Olympics. His sincere gesture in tracking down Tijana the Serbian volunteer is the moment that should be remembered forever by all sports lovers. He is a role model for everyone. The decent manner in which he conducted himself immediately after winning the race was also a revelation of his character.

@@annmariebusu9924 😂 Ok, nothing wrong with riding the Bolt train; he did the impossible. Bolt and Blake established the Jamaicans as sprint kings but Powell laid the foundation. It’s sad that Blake isn’t what he used to be but more sad that Powell never won an individual Olympic medal.

It kinda was! Grant had not lost a race in 2 years! He’s the reigning World Champion! He ran the second fastest time ever at the US trials! Set a world record indoors at 60 this year. It would have been a relative upset if McLeod had won this year, let alone Parchment!

OK, I had Holloway to win this, but I'm not even mad. Hansle Parchment executed that race to perfection. It was a justly won race. He deserves all of the respect that he gets, he has been consistent for the past ten years when he's uninjured. Congratulations, Hansle, you beat a world record holder.

Half of his Gold medal is thanks to the amazing japanese/serbian Olympics staff Trijana Stojkovic who helped him to get in time for the Semi-finals. If not for her, he would have missed the Semi-finals and the Finals, for sure. One of the warmest and most amazing stories of all Olympics history and none of TV channels broadcasted this incredible story...what a pity.

The commentator thought Halloway would win..but he forgot that 2 Jamaicans were in the race. Never estimate the power of Jamaicans🤣🤣
