The fact of the matter is that most men don't hate being seen as lustful and most women don't hate men for just being lustful as long as they are also respectful to the women (as shown in the ad). The gene pool that did not create lustful males did not survive the test of time. This is why these ads work. This is just biology and will work this way irrespective of what society thinks.

More purity is possible in men and women both, but the problem is that no body want that, they only want to enjoy.

As i a man i believe most sensible men don't get offended for these cuz they don't care, we have more important stuff to than being offended on a stupid advertisement

Even Terminator, wonder woman 2, Ghostbusters, Birds of prey etc they show that men are trash and all but later they were a complete disaster in the box office cause they had no proper storyline all they had was bashing men 🤦🤦.

Watching the TV show Mad Men has given me some mind-blowing insight on why and how these kind of ads are made. I now have a weird kind of appreciation for these ads (not the message, but the composition). I think the Music plays a role in the way we are perceiving the ad, Whenever I hear the Ghazal which sounds really calm and composed, I always saw the ad in a funny light, Had it been a lil wackier ya suggestive. I might have interpreted the ad in a different way.

Honestly these ads are funny for men but not for women these ads make women insecure and tells them that don't be with a men (maybe be a lesbian) because men will be men and they will run after young and beautiful women and will live you If you grow old and look ugly ( which by the way everyone is going to be)

I appreciate Aastha trying to give us her perspective, but she clearly fails to understand the male psyche. Accept it or not, we do think about “that one thing” a lot, hehe. I’ve grown up in exclusive men spaces and I know that even the most innocent one has that worm inside of him. That’s just the way we are, there is a huge aspect of evolutionary psychology that Aastha is ignoring. Men who deny this might have achieved some kind of monk status in their lives, because the natural state of men is to seek a lot of sex since they do not suffer any cost in the transaction of bodily fluids, whereas women have to be cautious with sex as a 100% of the cost is borne by them. Frankly I don’t see a problem in these ads, I see them as celebration of the differences between Men and Women. But I appreciate Aastha for trying to look at it from the male perspective and I understand that to her it might look like male bashing, but it is not. Men and women are not the same, however they are equal.

These traits aren't really male traits Hypocrisy is a human trait. In fact some can argue women are bigger hypocrites. And talking about being creepy, unfortunately, its a mans job to approach a woman in our society and a woman's job to accept or decline the offer but the problem is, there are no rules to it so inevitably there are going to be mistakes. Having said that, there are real creepy men everywhere, especially in India. And I don't think looking at someone is cheating, i'm not talking about scanning someone's body shamelessly, just tasteful looking because you like how they look is not cheating. I mean you have to hilariously uninformed about men if you consider looking as cheating. All men look, a lot of us are creepy about it and and a lot of us are not.
