[19] As a loving deer and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; And always be enraptured with her love. i find these verses to be the most practical for me in avoiding sexual sin, looking lustfully to be specific. Every time temptation hits, i think it my wife, and how beautiful she is, how much i love her, etc, and the temptations flee. I also make every effort i can to spend as much time as possible with her, as the more time apart we are, the stronger the temptations become, and the more opportunities i have to sin. In essence, I'm removing the provision for the flesh by cutting as much idle time out as i can.

6:46 The word used for "provision" there is πρόνοιαν which the BDAG lexicon for New Testament Greek defines as: "thoughtful planning to meet a need." So the sense of "provision" is more so the idea of planning / deliberation; this being said, provision of food certainly works as a teaching tool. But the sense of the verse would be "do not spend your mental energy making plans to gratify the desires of the flesh." The overall point still really stands. (As a Sem student who uses Greek/Hebrew I couldn't help but give $0.02) I appreciate the content sir, may God help us all walk in step with the Spirit! Jesus Christ lives. We are going to win.

I already fell to porn again. The upside is I learned something about myself and I think this is what God wanted me to learn. Desite having the desire for marriage, he didn't build me for it. God knew i would never be good enough for a wife and children. Its why my attempts at relationships always failed. My feelings of unworthiness for a wife I finally realize are accurate and I thank God for revealing that too me. Now that im pushing 33 I think I can finally move on.

It doesn't work like that. If you're not physically attracted to someone then you're never going to be. Personality can only go so far, even God knows this. You can't force yourself to be attracted to someone. A big part of marriage from my observations is sex and you have to be physically attracted to them to want to have it with them otherwise the marriage will fail.

Get married, huh? Wow! How come I've never thought of that? Oh, wait. I did think of that. I've been thinking of that for the past 20 years, but I can't get married because I'm physically disabled from birth and no woman wants me. And even if someone did marry me out of pity or whatever, I am unable to work a job and provide for a potential family. So thanks for nothing. Your verses did not help me in the slightest.
