I'm 25 years old, I've been single my whole life, and I've been battling with lust and pornography for the past ten years. What Jordan and Isaac said about pornography pacifying you when it comes to seeking relationships is very eye-opening for me and I think it's a big reason I've never been in a relationship. Even though I've had a strong desire for a godly marriage with a godly woman, I've never really made an initiative to seek out anyone because my struggle with pornography has made me complacent. I know being open about my personal problems to a bunch of anonymous people on KZfaq shouldn't be considered "brave," but I feel like bringing this issue into the light is one of the first steps I need to take to start the healing process towards obtaining freedom from my struggles with lust. Thank you Isaac for making these videos, they have truly been a source of wisdom and encouragement for me.

The most growth I have had in the struglle with lust has been because of my church, and the accountability of a brother. If you truly want to change you should tell a trusted person at your church and ask for an accountability partner. Also you need to block these avenues, something like covenant eyes is absolutely worth it. I hope you can find freedom from this brother, and know that there are many young men who also struggle with this, so that chances are you will be able to find help among your brothers at church.

@owen4420 agreed. We absolutely need to be surrounded with trusted people from Church and as Paul said in Gal 5:13 do not use your liberty given by Christ as a opertunity for the flesh. In my case it is to not have any social media except KZfaq. To run from that lust.

My closest friend and I are accountability partners. It’s not immediate and perfect, but the progress we’ve made together is incredible and freeing.

Im 20 and I’ve been single all my life as well, I want to pursue women but I feel so guilty whenever I have indulged in lust for so long, but it’s my yr and no matter how many times I give in I will never give up

Adultery is like a free handout that devalues sex as God sees it. God tied commitment and self-sacrifice to sex. Responsibility comes with rights. With lack of responsibility comes lack of those rights. I (trying to stay grounded so the devil doesn’t pounce) overcame temptation for a long time and was able to do it in the context of my marriage. It was so much more fulfilling than lusting at women with my eyes in secret. She is mine and I am hers. Praying for you brother. You can overcome it. The temptation never goes away.

The Lord protected me from starting a relationship with a Godly man with a porn addiction. I'm so thankful to be the Lord's daughter and under His protection. All glory to our Heavenly Father ✝️🕊

Jordan Peterson is like the modern day C.S. Lewis for me. He has a way of explaining things that everyone knows in a manner that they not only know it but also understand it. Humility is also a common trait between the two. Dennis Prager on the other hand has some good takes, especially on dads, but man humility is lacking and he clearly doesn’t understand some concepts so he cannot explain it. One more thing about porn… It’s literally giving your body to that in that moment, you sacrifice a moment of your body when doing what you do. So you give your body as a living sacrifice to the demon of lust. If you give a living sacrifice then you declare “this is my god”. That for me is the part that really shows how bad it is.

Was addicted to anime gacha games, God spoke to me today and told me i had a choice: 1) stay in my comfort and waste my life... i was going to choose this one 2) have faith and see what happens I got a small feeling in my heart saying that the second was the roght thing to do, so, despite it being REALLLLLLY hard, i changed yt accounts, deleted the games and stopped watching the porn Idk what will happen to me, idk what i will fill my time with, im kinda scared ngl, but for some absurd reason i have faith... perhaps this is Gods plan? Good luck, it takes a lot of willpower, but i believe in you! Theres more to life than this...

We don't need any more simping from the religious community telling guys to do better. We need that outreach telling women to do better. Very few women are relationship material these days, but the religious community is so utterly lacking courage I've never heard anyone speak to this. Guys speak of this all the time and it's common knowledge, but ignoring the elephant in the room is not doing churches any favors.

I partially agree with this. As far as there needing to be more woman speaking out on this. I am a female so what comes on my feed is going to be different than yours. I follow more female channels so the algorithm is going to give me more females sharing content. I have seen a gradual incline of woman speaking on modesty more. Whether that be in acts or in the way they dress. I think this is all great. Unfortunately being modest in this day and age can get taken as a man telling you what and what not to wear. I don’t agree with this mindset. As I get older the more I realize that the one who should be seeing my body fully in an intimate way should be my future husband. The argument will always come up “I should be able to wear what I want”. I understand wanting to keep self-preservation and thinking for yourself and not being told how to act or dress. The reality is though when you wear something revealing you WILL get attention. It will not be the good kind either. It is fueled by lust. This is why I chose to dress more modestly now. I do not need an individual in my life only desiring me for lustful reason. These relationships are unfulfilling and fleeting.

Pray simply. Pray to Jesus to change your heart. When heart is changed you will start to hate sin and it will automatically lose its ties. For example: "Jesus here I am, I am too weak to beat this on my own. I belive you are my only salvation. I give you my heart - please take it and change it as you like.". 😊 Take care brother.

It does matter man. Jesus heals all wounds and there are women out there for you. Repent of all sins and pray that God strengthens you to be man capable of raising a family. You got this! The Holy Spirit wants to guide you.
