I have mostly marx steam locomotives and one Lionel war bonnet engine and one menards blue bonnet locomotive I like all my o scale prewar or post war trains mostly marx rolling stock I'm trying to find couplers that might work on marx rolling stock I thought kadee o scale couplers might work but not sure what model number will work

Very pleased so far with the engine. Today I found a cold solder connection on the caboose but it was a easy fix once it was found on the power pickup. Thank you Bob for your comments.

Thank you for watching and commenting. The engine operates similar to a LionCheif using the remote only for control. Menards should provide a recommended operation voltage range to better understand long-term results on the engine. I usually operate my engine around 15 volts for acceptable results for me. Some people may desire slower speeds. I have tested at 12 volts and it did not struggle, but will run mine at around 15 volts until I hear an acceptable voltage range from Menards. Menards engine is an entry level locomotive at a much lower price but they have made progress improving their products.

Maybe they will share more when they are ready for regular production. Yes, it has good pulling power. Thank you for your comments.

They have their own builder that to the best of our knowledge, is not involved with any of the other O Gauge manufacturers. The bay-window caboose also has rotating bearing caps on its trucks like their long flatcars.

Yes, you can power it from a conventional AC transformer and control it with the included remote similar to a LionChief. Menards now offers a boxed set including engine, caboose, track, power supply, and remote.

I think you are referring to the editing usually when I am speaking. About 5 years ago I had a stroke that I have mostly recovered from but still have some lingering issues.
