Mendelssohn studied Bach, so I guess It isn't a coincidece that his piece has reminiscences of BWV 849, the prelude and fugue in c# minor.

hello, great videos, and for each you have picked excellent recordings of the piece :D. I have a question for you, as I think i want to start a channel in the future: If you use other recordings in your video, but state the source and link to original video in description, which is what you do, do you get copyright striked? Sorry if it sounds like i am being nosy..

Hello! they get secured by it, this only means that I can’t get monetized by these videos AKA i can’t earn money from them. I don’t have a lot of experiences with that regards since i’m a new channel, but I guess it’s always good to be careful. I know some channels that get taken down but so far that hasn’t happened to me. I can’t really give advice but i wish you the best of luck for your future channel!
