I think the etude 1 and 3 are the best

Superbly and artfully well played, with all the pianistic knots skillfully untied. It's no comment on the pianist, though, to say that it seems to me that Albeniz's original is a better piece of music. There are diminishing returns for complexity, and sometimes simplicity (though Iberia is hardly simple) is more profound than faux complexity.

Wait, op.106 and in B flat major, just like the Hammerklavier! Also, the second theme of the exposition is in G major (the sub-mediant). What other similarity can I find with the Hammerklavier? Lmao, it's really a great piece though.

Great! But still greater ist the Brooklyn performance 1980 by Sviatoslav Richter (also available on youtube). "Greater" means still more connection and unit, still more and more dynamic accelerando, nevertheless with the sentimental basis in he beginning and the end.
