Excellent, I am very interested in Mendelsshons compositions. Have you transcribed any of his other pieces? He seems to be overlooked. I am especially interested in his violin concerto.

Unbelievable! What a beautiful instrument and performance. I didn’t realize the cross string trill technique hadn’t been “discovered” in Tarrega’s day. Do you know when it was introduced and by whom? It’s one of my favorite parts of classical guitar technique to listen to and play (poorly, in my case…). I always associate it with Paul Galbraith as he is fond of it and performs it impeccably.
