That was tough watching your reaction. I was going to say it seems too soon, but as someone who has been divorced for 25 yrs, watching this brought up all those same memories of what I went through. All of the pain, all of the drama, the lying, the blaming, the expense. And the scars... I'm so incredibly proud of Kelsea for doing this, it must have been gut wrenching. In "Just Married", they way he keeps piling on dishes reminds of the way J*ke was piling on dishes in the sink in the kitchen fight scene in Taylors "All Too Well" the short film

This was such a beautiful yet heartbreaking short film. I went through the same thing with my husband of 20 years. He just wasn't there for me even though I told him repeatedly what I needed from him. These songs really struck a chord with me. I love your reactions to these songs. I wish you could be my therapist because you are so empathetic and real!

I’ve never been married (and therefore divorced either obviously) but this short film still made me cry ☹️ so many emotions that you can feel even if you’ve never been through it yourself so I can only imagine the feelings if you have been through it ❤️

I cry each time I listen to these songs from Kelsea. I have been fan of hers for years and I saw there relationship and was miles away from thinking they were going through that. I feel right now that I am in this situation right now with my husband. He had a car accident 8 years ago and all his traumas came back up. I tried so hard to be there for him but it broke so much. I feel like I need to take that step but I love him so much that I cannot bring myself to do so. Especially I left everything for him, my family, my friends, my country, my language and my culture, all I ever knew behind for him. I am not blaming him for that I am the one who chose him and made that choice. But it hurts so much, I am 36, always wanted to have a family and we are there, no kids, not happy. I am so scared to take the next step and feel so ashamed that I might not have done enough. I am so so so lost.

This review was really good and emotional. There are two songs that I’d love you to review. They are Moral of the Story by Ashe and Angry Woman by Ashe. Moral of the Story is about divorce and it is really good and has a mature way about looking at divorce and breakups in general while Angry Woman has Vigilante Shit and Mad Woman vibes and I love both of them

Thank you Mere for reacting to this! I appreciate you. I think these songs are highly relatable. I'm still grieving a past relationship myself and it definitely cut. I hope listening to it wasn't too too hard for you - I felt your emotions listening to "Penthouse". But I'm glad you felt it was therapeutic for you in the end. Her ex-husband, Morgan Evans, wrote a song called "Over For You" about her a few months ago and I love how these songs provide an answer. Love your reactions and your channel! ❤

@@DJGaming-XSX Hmm I actually do know the story. I’ve known Morgan for over 15 years, and met Kelsea through work & then because of him. He wasn’t the problem. The fact she had a new man in her bed before the ink dried on their divorce papers says everything about her integrity.
@trailblazers9491
@trailblazers9491 Жыл бұрын
@@DJGaming-XSX The story is pretty public. She cheated on him years before the divorce and didn't tell him until almost 2 years after she cheated. Then she changed her mind on the timetable for starting a family that was discussed and agreed to before marriage. That is definitely her right to do so, but on something major like that, it is understandable for a partner to feel like that is yet another betrayal on top of her infidelity. And he still tried to make the marriage work until she decided to end it. It is VERY clear who took the high road in this marriage and divorce
@kristint9212

@@trailblazers9491I literally cannot wrap my mind around how she is the “bad guy” for deciding how much she could handle. There’s a lot of strength in knowing when to walk away. It’s VERY obvious that neither of them were perfect, but I say good for her for having the courage to walk away instead of staying in a situation where she was miserable. She grew up and she changed. It sucks, but it happens. And that doesnt make her a bad person, even if it did cause her to make mistakes. No one is perfect and she didn’t claim to be. After listening to the music that is out there from both sides, I don’t see a “high road” and a “low road”. I see two very different people how handled things in the way that was best for them and navigated the best they could. It’s horrible that this situation caused them both a lot of hurt, but it’s no one’s place to judge either of them unless you are without flaws.

Let's hope too that Kelsea realizes what she contributed to the divorce. When you go in giving 150% and overcompensating and then realizing you're only getting 20% back...I don't think she has healed her wounds and will make the same mistake over and over until she does.

Are you going to be fair and do a reaction to HIS side of the story? Or only hers, because she airs juicy gossip & multiple digs at him? He was raised better than her I guess, and hasn’t brought up the fact she had an affair like she did - and he forgave her… But yes, he missed a flight (she didn’t ever miss plans I guess, that would mean she would have to take part of the blame instead of putting it all on him 🙄) so they should get a divorce. It had nothing to do with her having a new guy in her bed before the ink was dry on the divorce papers 👍🏽

@@kathrynstewart8412 Actually, my best friend is one of the biggest names the country music industry & she knows all about the affair. Plus, I know Morgan. You also forgot Kelsea’s album “Subject To Change (that was released in September - 2 months PRIOR to their divorce being finalised) is comprised of songs having not so subtle digs directed at him, in fact more than half of the songs are about him. Anyway, I’ve worked with both Morgan & Kelsea, and he dodged a bullet by not having children with that bitter, fame-seeking woman. In case you hadn’t figured that out already by the 50 different contradictions in her songs/podcast. It hasn’t struck you as odd that she hasn’t done any interviews of the country music radios like she normally does? Perhaps because they know Morgan as well, and that she’s really great at “lying through her teeth” to quote, If You Go Down. You’re welcome for the knowledge you clearly lack. Have a great day 👋🏽
