Seems odd the Dems would come after one of their own, to this extent. Especially when they could lose the Senate over this? Are they able to appoint a replacement if he resigns?

Yeah imagine that a doj that follows the rule of law instead of the presidents bidding-that is actually the norm, clinton changed it but i think biden has reverted back to pre.clinton times. Thats why it took so long fornthe doj to go after trump on the election. It wasnt until the liz and dems thing that got the doj moving..... But of course if the Don is re elected this again will be a thing of the past.

👨‍⚖️✋ ~ Wait… Why should he be guilty? If the Supreme Court says the president has “absolute immunity“, and it seems like even taking a bribe would be included in that since it is so difficult to prove it’s not an “official act“, Then why shouldn’t congressmen have absolute immunity? And similarly, why shouldn’t police officers have absolute immunity? So many people are furious at cops and how they have qualified immunity, absolute immunity would literally be 50 times more. Let’s say a cop wants to arrest someone with a warrant for unpaid speeding ticket, and that person starts to run away, even though that person is not dangerous, if the cop purposely uses their side arm to stop the suspect while he runs away solely because the cop is not in shape enough to catch him, he would get absolute immunity because he was in the process of committing a “official act“ even though his conduct would be atrocious. But if we don’t want the president to be worried about breaking a law because they might fail to act with what they think is appropriate, they shouldn’t cops be the exact same? I’m one of those minority of people who care about honesty and objectivity and accuracy. And I care about preserving our democratic republic and holding people accountable based on the rule of law. But it doesn’t matter what someone thinks about the recent cases against the last administration, we should not have anybody who is immune, even if it’s not technically immune from everything but still practically immune, from following the law. Anybody have any thoughts?e

I’m surprised people aren’t saying the random pilot that had engine trouble was not some plot. Because when helicopters go down with anybody who is rich or from the foreign country, the crazies online start chirping like birds. Crap like this happens all the time, they just are kind of like children who don’t understand the wider world. Yet they are sure that they know more than their parents and teachers and everything, kind of like a typical 13 year old. It is amusing and even hilarious sometimes, but is growing so much in this country that is beyond scary right now.
