You can tell Fox got nerfed because sometimes you can see Misa after lap 1. Usually he's just a green dot on my map.

real gp analysis sequel not by me but by Mengsk what a chad 👊

They still need to add a honk sound for Goose everytime you spin...
@MegaKnuckles7772 ай бұрын
You can sorta get that with the confetti spin effect!

I feel like Mute City III was trying to channel the spirit of Mute City IV with the way those jump pads were placed. Same with those boost pads at the start of the track. Gives it the same sense of speed that IV had too. Easily in my top 5 favorite mirror tracks.

Although this isn't from the 1.3 I wanted to mention that for those starting this game as a new player you can use private lobbies for every event and GP to unlock all the courses and their variations in Time Trial the fastest, rather than duking it out in GPs with real players. You also don't have to finish the course to unlock it anymore.

Mengsk should pin this comment

Great review! Pretty much word for word/thought for thought of what I was thinking about each mirror track too and also compared to their original tracks 👍 Love the skyway tips too, was a few I didn't know about

Wow! An Almost 40 minute in depth analysis of the whole 1.3.0 Update this will be a very fun watch!

From what you mean by “wall bumpers” (found in mDW2 and mPT2) the game actually has a banner before you go into a race that mentions it as a deflector. 20:57 is about when you mention them.(p.s. the game actually teased us about them before the mirrored king league was activated.)

It wasn't just me who saw the tease! I saw the tease on a Wednesday just before Mirror Queen was first released, and I was like "whoops they spoiled mPT1" but turned out it was a spoiler for mPT2 weeks later!

IRL Im a super peaceful guy, family man and all, but once I suit up and get ready for The Goose, Im gonna fuck your shit up. So, making Goose even tankier is wonderful news for me.

Another thing to point out in mRC1 is that if you're not front running after the jump there is a blind spot where the bumpers can hit you without seeing it coming.

Great analysis! Really appreciate your insight and agree with many of your points and learned a few new tricks! For Mirror White Land I, I've seen a lot of people (including myself) take the right jump pad after the speed zipper instead of going straight between the wall and spinners. It's a lot safer and more guaranteed than potentially clipping a spinner and ruining the race.

Excellent analysis! I was most curious to hear your thoughts on mRC1 and mDW2. I sometimes try to theorycraft with the sparks-path in mRC1, specifically using it on Lap 1 (and only Lap 1) with Stingray, but uncertain if it's actually a gamechanger... And mDW2 is odd... it feels like it lacks a plan or identity. The bumper walls-unlike a track such as mWL2-seem mostly unnecessary. And the added couple jumps feel kinda uninspired... but it certainly has a little more options going on than regular DW2 so I approve. I know others have said this too but I love that these mirrored tracks make a nice attempt at pushing the skill ceiling-it's such a unique experience that honestly makes them entirely new tracks, versus something like Mario Kart's mirrored tracks where you turn right instead of left (yawn). My wishlist is more Secret Tracks! Now there's not even enough for a Mini GP, and the thumbnail shows backgrounds of all regions... I want more mashups! At least 5 for a proper GP...

Been waiting for a 1.3 update from you. Thanks for the superb analysis, really useful video

Most of the mirror tracks have cool designs. It’d be nice if they would add them to classic since they might work well with all of the jump and boost plates.
@ThrashCommander2 ай бұрын
nintendo why you gotta put us stingray mains down like that? but dude super thanks for those course tips, mirror king league has been destroying me, but now I've got some new strategies to try out.
@bitzero0002 ай бұрын
does it help to slow down for the 999 skyway?
@MengskGX2 ай бұрын
Nope, just have to launch the skyway right before the zipper.
@ForceM17822 ай бұрын
Excellent analysis. Well i iknow this is gonna be controversial, but they could add not only more cups and tracks, and perfect balance between the existing machines, but maybe they could also add some cars from the F-Zero game that only got released in Japan. I know this would only open another can of worms, and technically not be F-Zero ONE. But then, we're kinda way past that point anyway...

@MengskGX the Fire Field track you were displaying just now....can this track not get anymore brutal and rage filled?🤣🤣🤣🤣👿👿😈😈😈😈😈🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
@bitzero0002 ай бұрын
have you considered that mute City might be good for Fox by design? Foxes are front runners after all, it would make sense for them to front run a Grand Prix
@MengskGX2 ай бұрын
The problem is Mute City is the heaviest weighted course since it has 99 players and making it a free win for Fox is a major advantage in the GP.
@EdgarCorona2 ай бұрын
You are right, Foxes sure do frontrun entire grands prix... 😅

This game is getting pretty dead. They're even out of backdrops to give away in that useless daily lucky ranks bonus thing, and they just give you 5 tickets every 6 chips you earn now. Speaking of tickets; mine have been maxed out at 99 for two months. They need to start giving us something to spend them on other than entry into the grand prix and mini prix. Open up a ticket shop. This game has gotten more stale than 2 year old potato chips.
