In today’s Menopause Monday I’m covering a topic which I often get asked about privately by menopausal ladies and wanted to address it publicly because it’s an issue which a lot of menopausal ladies struggle with, so please don’t think it’s only you! It’s not.
Getting sweaty in the groin area is something many menopausal women are plagued with.
One of the main problems with excessive sweating is linked to our hot flushes, night sweats and the fact that when we sweat more, we're more likely to use more anti-perspirant. The problem with this is that the body still needs to sweat to cool itself down. That sweat that is being blocked from your armpits generally navigates its way downwards and often it appears in your groin - also hands and feet to a lesser degree.
In my video I explain why this happens and give you some easy strategies to help reduce excessive sweating and help reduce the resultant pong.
