I'm really proud of you, Ray. I've not known you for that long but I knew on first meet in Trafalgar Square that you were (and are) a solid guy. You took pictures of me playing bass and called me once you heard of my mum's passing, giving me the time to speak. You were a real mensch. I can tell that for you to talk to a camera and be so open an honest about your struggles in this was a tough thing for you. You've shown a great deal of strength to do this and it's clear that the time had come for you to share it with the world, at the expense of your comfort zone. I also think that you wouldn't be the person you are today if you hadn't gone through that dark time. I'm excited that your way of channeling your creativity is now from the outside looking in with your camera, as opposed to being stuck inside like you were. We've talked about the mindset of a security officer before and it is for definite that there are countless other men and women (particularly in that line) of work who have been in your previous state of depression, compounded with the feelings of lonely suffering. On top of that, there are countless folks from that line of work, who are still there and don't feel they have the necessary tools to get out of that black hole. As we've spoken about before, many of whom choose project their I'll feeling for themselves onto their colleagues and employees, as well as other unhealthy ways of expressing their sadness. It is really important that people hear that chapter from your story to understand that traumas and dark cycles of thought affect the best of us. I'm of the opinion right now that you could be someone that speaks to people in schools and workspaces about these dangers but more importantly that there is a way out. By most accounts, the worst thing about our previous line of work, is the boredom, which we know is a pathogen for the mind. I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only person to be told about this chapter of your life. I'm very deliberately using the term, 'chapter' because your story is far from finished. There is so much more to your story. You are about to achieve great things for yourself and for others. The trajectory you are on now needs to be seen as a source of inspiration for others. I'm proud to know you as a man and to call you a friend. Rock n' roll, Ray 🤘❤️🤘 P.S if anyone else has read this comment, this guy can take a f***in photo. Through my line of work, I'm photographed all the time by people all over the world. This guy is already in the upper echelon. Check him out and reach out to him. He's a proper top geezer. ✊🥹👍

Well done for staying and finding your thing. It took God. You didn’t do that of yourself. I hope you know that. If not for God that could have ended so differently. It would have without a doubt. The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak. Everyone has a story Raimond. When I first met you, you were so positive. You use to encourage me and tell me off for being so negative about work. But you changed. We will have a proper chat one day. 💛🙏🏽💛

Great video Ray. I suffer with depression, have done for years. Currently feeling bad about myself, as not long had to go homeless with my wife, but sister in law said we can stay with them. Went from a 3 bed house to a bedroom, but its a roof our heads. Wife lost her mum in February and this has made her anxiety and depression VERY bad. I find going out with camera helps. Ive met up with Moodyguy a few times and it makes me feel great. He is a nice guy. I keep asking him to get you all out again, as would like to meet the other crazy lot lol, even the flower man 🌸 lol Stay strong Ray, so glad that you didn't jump.

You’re glad about me, but my man, I’m glad about yourself. Life can get really hard at times but we need to move forward and keep going. Amazing you’ve gotten into photography as well as myself and that it helps you to get through things. I’m sure we will meet one day with Moodyguy himself and the flower shooters as well 😜 Don’t give up, keep going 🤘
