Girl! Share all you want to about your sweet boy, it’s keeps his memory alive and he will always be apart of you. Especially if it helps you with your healing. You will never be the same person nor will the grief stop but it will shift and those memories and talking about him will bring a calmness and peace within you a bittersweet smile on your face. Thinking of you❤

This is your safe space, you can cry and talk all about your beautiful little boy. You never need to feel like you can’t talk about your son just because he isn’t here on earth side. He is a big part of your life and if you want to talk about him, GIRL TALK ABOUT HIM ! ❤️

Mercedes please talk about your son. We want to hear the good and the bad. Anything to help YOU while you are healing after such a devastating loss. I lost my mom when I was 16 (I'm 31 now), all I wanted to do was talk about her or call her and tell her about my day or what I saw on TV. Not being able to have that outlet was so hard, and keeping all the thoughts in my head hurt me more as I was growing up than it would have if I had someone to talk. I deal with a lot of anxiety, depression, agoraphobia and PTSD now. My brain was in constant fight or flight growing up. Since shes been gone, I'm still falling from the fight or flight, I'm still trying to relearn how to live life. Have things gotten easier? Possibly, to an extent. But nothing feels like home without her. There is no time limit on grieving. You are allowed to take as much time as you need. So, please Mercedes if anything we can do to help you is to listen to you so you can process the thoughts in your head, please share them. ❤

Mercedes, I've been following you for a while and I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and your content. Not just the book content and how hilarious you are--but this stuff too. Because it's REAL life. And it's important to share when things are difficult, and the ebb and flow of it all. I can't imagine what you've gone through, and yet, you show up authentic, vulnerable, and wise. Keep taking care of yourself the best you can. Sending so much love from Canada!

Girl! Talk about it! Get it out! It’s such an enormous part of your story and nobody expects just your positive and bubbly-ness all the time❤ we adore you through the good and the hard! Grief is hard and sometimes it sucks and there’s no time limit(as a momma- my hearts reaches for you and I just want to give you the biggest hug ever!). I love that you share everything- not just the easy days! ❤❤❤

I love the check-ins, even if you need to use them as a space to talk things out. Honestly we need more of this type of content on the internet to show that all of these emotions are normal and that everyone has things they are going through. Start small with getting back into cooking and other hobbies, getting out of a mental health rut is one of the most difficult things and taking on too much too fast can make things worse. Savor the small victories, breathe through the pain, continue to vent, and we’ll be here for you❤

You went through the unthinkable. You are an amazingly strong mama. You talk about your baby as much as you want and feel comfortable to do so and if that’s a problem for someone forget them they are not worth your time. One foot in front of another. One situation at a time mama.❤

First off, I absolutely adore you. SHARE IT ALL WITH US! The real ones will stay, f everyone else! BUT I just want to say how amazing you truly are. You are struggling & going THROUGH it & ALWAYS stop to tell us that things will get better no matter what we are going through too. I love you for that. I lost my grandma in February & that’s no comparison as to you losing Wesley but it’s fn painful all the same. So thank you. Thank you for being raw & real. Ily Mamas ❤

Hi Mercedes! I have been following you since you posted your review of how does it feel on KZfaq. I also suffer from anxiety and depression and something that helps my brain turn off and reset is crocheting while listening to audiobooks. I am currently making a strawberry milk cow and it’s so cute. Maybe it will help you feel better. Sending so many healing hugs ❤❤❤

You never have to apologize for feeling your pain and sharing it. You don’t need to make anyone comfortable. I wish I could carry it for you, but I can’t. What I can do though is sit here with you and feel with you and validate you. You’re not alone.

Grief is a longtime friend of mine. Talking about it hurts but it helps in the long run. It will always live within you and someday you’ll learn to live in it as well❤

This video was so real and it’s okay to be a mess. You are grieving, there’s no time limit on that. I know that alot of your followers are probably from book tok. And while we may have initially followed you because of that, it’s not why we stayed. Please express yourself, show your grief, talk about your son, scream from the mountain tops, whatever it is you need to do to get through the day. Don’t feel like you have to stop talking about your son. You’re keeping his memory alive by talking about him, and we all want to know about him. We want to share in the joy you had in the happy moments, and in the sorrow you are in right now. You’re not alone. And by you showing this side, you may be helping other people out there. Other parents who have lost their children and feel the same way you do. Also, I found that gardening helped with my depression. There’s just something about nature that is soothing to my soul. I hope you find the same comfort in it as well. It can also be a form of therapy. You made it through another day, and you will make it through tomorrow. I can’t wait to hear more about your Wesley ♥️

Thank you for being so raw. I suffered a miscarriage in 2022, it would’ve been my first baby, and I always feel like I can’t talk about it and it makes it feel like my baby never happened. Now I’m trying to be better about not caring if others are uncomfortable about it. Keep you head up babe. You’re doing your best 🫶🏼

Mercedes. I have been following you since you did your last read on Kingdom of Ash on TikTok and you are a vision. You are a beautiful, strong, and loving person. You have done so much for so many other people; inspiring, helped, cared, and appreciated so many people. But WE are also here for you. There may be people that skip over videos like this on TikTok or on your KZfaq, but there ARE people (me included) that genuinely care. Wesley was you’re child, if anyone is annoyed or tired of hearing about you being upset over him 👉🏻 Here’s the door girl 🚪 I want you to be okay, and if you can’t be happy, if you can’t read, if you can’t smile, IM STILL HERE. So many people care about YOU, not just the books, not just the reviews. But your life, because YOU are who we come to watch. If you need a break, we’ll understand, if you just want to scream and cry on here, I’ll gladly listen. No one is ever expected to be okay after going through something like you did. And you are beautiful, you are smart, and you are talented. And I love and care for you Mercedes. ❤️

My heart just breaks for you but I relate so so much to all the things you say. I lost my Mom who was my best friend last May and can’t even believe it’s about to be a whole year without her. I feel like when I talk about her people get very distant because I do get very emotional about how much I love and miss her. She left this world very sudden and I was not prepared to lose her so early. We need to keep talking about them because that is what keeps them alive with us! No one can take that away! I find myself silently marking little things that happen daily that remind me of her because no one else could understand how and why but I DO! It doesn’t get easier ever, but we do battle on because we are strong! I love you so much girl! 💗🫂

I've had a really rough time lately, too. I can't imagine FOR YOU. There's been times I've wanted to text you and share things with you, but I don't because I'm so scared to bring you down. I'm especially afraid of upsetting you if you're having a decent day, and I'd feel awful for ruining a good day for you. Please know I love you and think of all of you ALL DAY EVERY DAY and I'm always here if you need to dump, share, cry ...anything. ❤

Mercedes, I hope you know that even if you are having a mental breakdown we are all here for you! You are going through the unimaginable and it's healthy for you to talk about it. You don't have to worry about keeping others comfortable like you said that's exhausting. And I believe you have the right to talk about Wesley as much as you want to, he is always going to be your baby ❤ I love seeing the updates because ther honestly isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you and hope you are having a better day.

Hey bestie Im waitlisted to (for like a mf year now) but im half through a psychology degree so I got us lmfao🤣 no but im proud of you for trying to verbalize it even if its on camera/on yt You have the absolute right to talk about him and you, dont hurt yourself for the expense of others comfort, getting it out and sharing it is a really important part of grieving. Grief physically effects many parts of your brain especially when bottled up. The amygdala (deals with fear) becomes overactive which could feed into the panic attacks. I ONLY HAVE HALF A DEGREE THO but Im wishing you the best you deserve the world sweetheart I hope you have fun at the readers take denver! Also you read my mind? bc I was literally just debating reading a fate inked in blood before watching this

Not that it’s your responsibility but when you get uncomfortable and share about grief it will teach people how to be around people with grief. It’s not something we’re taught but it can and should be learned. ❤
