Nag Notes po ako heheh Noted from Ms Carla P and Coach Jello -vlog: “The beautiful gift of God-that our brain can change.” “Healing is a choice. It’s a choice that we make for ourselves.” “Healing looks differently for different people” Healing starts from inside -renewal of the mind-emotions -overflows with our decision making. “Quoting a Bible verse for a person is not enough…it’s a journey…to tolerate the bad behavior they are in because they are hurting…” “God’s redemption is not just a passive experience where we just wait on God to redeem us. God gave us the power to take part in our own story that God is crafting” “a healthy relationship involves two people who are self- aware” “A healthy relationship with the self will lead a healthy relationship with others”

Right, putting make up to look good is self love, exercise to feel good is a discipline but at the same love for the body God has give us. Thanks for illuminating so many things we cannot articulate.

Once you are aware of the states you are in, it is so helpful to understand and implement practices to help these shifts. Another trauma response that I experienced was dissociation. There were times when I felt like I was watching myself from outside of my body, or that I was disconnected from my emotions and was living in a distress milieu. This was a way for my brain to protect me from overwhelming feelings or sensations, but it also made it difficult for me to connect with others and feel like I was fully present in my own life. Emotional dysregulation was also a big challenge for me, as I would sometimes experience intense mood swings or emotional outbursts that felt difficult to control. Again trauma is not what happens to you; it is what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you. I want you to know that trauma responses are a normal and natural reaction to a traumatic event, and it's important to be gentle and patient with yourself as you navigate these experiences. Sel-Compassion is really the key.

This feels like a hug. I feel less alone to hear those words. Sometimes, messages from the church though well meaning, is not really helpful or so insensitive and not helpful in my own healing journey. Grateful for this. I feel seen. Thank you!

Ms. Rica, God answer my prayer yesterday😁 He answer it right away in very unexpected way ❤️ sobra ko pong nadama ang Kanyang pagkalinga. Sabi ko alisin niya po yung obsession and addiction in mobile and social media kasi naniniwala po ako na isa ito sa mga idols sa buhay natin na hindi tayo aware. Matapos ko po magworship using the phone.
