Hot sauce has been around for thousands of years. How did we go from medicinal chili sauce used by the Aztecs to Sriracha and Tabasco?

I like almost every hot sauce and salsa I've ever tried... except for Sriracha. I don't know what exactly makes it different, but about an hour after eating it, I end up rolling around in pain for hours. It's like I have a duodenal allergy or something.

@@jovanweismiller7114 I have no idea why it happens. Sriracha-flavored foods don't do it, other hot sauces don't do it (even much hotter ones), salsas, peppers, etc. It's just the bottled Sriracha. So Cholula is what I normally slather all over everything... especially the chipotle flavor or the green flavor. It's so mild though, it's really more of a flavoring than a hot sauce.

Those are great, but you have to learn to eat them one at a time, because they come on slowly and you do NOT want them to accumulate. Also, you have to be careful biting into them, because the powder's a little loose and you really, really do not want it in your eyes.

The town of Sri-racha is not in South-East Thailand. The region is known as Eastern Thailand. There are 3 original brands of sriracha sauces still in production today. Also Nam-prik literally translates to chilli-water or chilli sauce, and is similar meaning to the indonesian word sambal. There are many different kinds but all have chilli in them.

Chicken is a type of birds/dinosaurs. Can someone please try to grow chili from the chili seeds that have been through the digestive system of a chicken. May be it is also a good idea to feed your chicken with grains first and then use their poo as seeds. Since birds won't destroy the seed that they have ate, then there should be no seed eating birds/dinosaurs in the world. Both birds/dinosaurs and mammals can be seed dispersers or seed consumers.
