Sometimes, I can’t believe I’m watching someone else cook, clean, garden and shop - things I have been doing for decades myself. But, Becky makes it interesting and fun and I have learned a thing or two like freezing diced peppers and onions without the need to blanch them.

I tried the kewpie mayo because everyone raved about it. To me, it had an artificial taste that was very off putting. I keep a small blanket in my vehicle that always seems to come in handy. In a pinch, I’ll wrap my perishables (or ice cream) in it or throw it over the bags to insulate from the sun.

Hi Becky. I just wanna thank you. When I started watching you, you used the sentence: " Give my self grace" whenever something didn't turn out 100% perfect. Nowadays, you're talking a lot about making your future self happy, and I just wanna thank you so much for those two things. I hate cleaning, but doing something that makes future me happy makes me happy while doing it. And if I didn't make everything on my to-do list, I remember to give myself grace or cut myself some slacks because I might have gotten around to some other stuff. So, thank you for changing my perspective on things and making things more enjoyable, and thank you for entertaining me while doing the dishes. Ps: I hope it all makes sense. Being from 🇩🇰 english is second language and better spoken than written.

No one person is 100% self suffincent. Even in the 1800s people were going here and there within the community to get the things they needed. Thats how communities thrived. We need to focus on what we can do and source locally whenever possible. Buying local helps to ensure that you have access to food for years to come. Our cow has raised 10km from us and slaughtered 30min from us and sent back to the farm as they have a custom butchershop on the farm. It is so nice to be able to know what they eat, their heritage line and see the whole process from start to finish.

Chicken, noodles, and sauteed veggies, can be an Alfredo dish or that same dish could be an Asian style stir fry. I could use the same ingredients all week but add different sauce and no one in the house would get bored. Which is great when you shop on a budget and can get bulk of something.

We love the Japanese barbeque sauce and the Kewpie mayo. Yoshida's will always be in our rotation, but this bbq sauce is very tasty. I wonder, do you ever put fresh fruit/puree in your sodastream beverages? We really enjoy it.

I love that you I said “I’ve always wanted to say go out to the garage fridge and get yourself a beverage”. This was legit one of the things that I always wanted to do as well and when I was able to it was like a childhood dream come true. Ridiculous I know. But it made my heart happy

The reason you can't keep orchids alive is because grocery store orchids are basically sold already dying. I went down an orchid rabbit hole a few years ago, and in short, orchid roots start to rot and die when they're put in dense, wet soil (in the wild, they don't grow in soil at all, they grow on trees, their roots exposed to the air and absorbing water from rain), but it's cheap to mass produce them in dense, wet soil and expensive to grow and pot them healthily. If you want an orchid that won't die within a few weeks, you need to shell out at least $150 for one that's been grown and potted correctly, but obviously most people don't want to do that, so that's why $16 dying grocery store orchids exist. They're also pretty finicky to care for, so even that $150 isn't guarantee it'll survive and bloom again next year. I love orchids but now seeing all the rows at the grocery store just makes me kind of sad, because these beautiful living things are being sold with the intention of slowly rotting to death.

Who else would love an episode dedicated to hearing how motherhood has been going for our friend, Becky? I would LOVE a relaxed video like we were sitting together just catching up!! Is baby crawling around and babbling, etc.? She's so great at balancing everything, I'd love to hear how she makes it all happen with a baby. I'm sure some thanks are due to Josh! What a great hubby and dad.

I recently bought a outside carpet and it has transformed my patio - love it. Very excited you bought the Australian Bundaberg ginger beer ❤️ Have been using the Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise for many years and love it. It is more savory than sweet. Makes the best tuna salad sandwiches. I also have the large Costco cooler bag. I place my shopping bags straight back into my car after unpacking groceries. Also use mine for a beach bag and soft eski. Thank you for taking us shopping with you. 🦘

Do you ask all the people for consent to be filmed? A tighter shot might be better to allow people the autonomy to decide if they want to be filmed and put on KZfaq.

Becky I'm so glad you inspired me to start gardening again. My garden is looking so fantastic and I'm excited about having produce that I have grown. Ionly built 3 raised beds, but it's been years since i raised one and i started a lot of my own plants this year. We bought a Blackstone last year and absolutely love it.i keep a cooler shopping bag in my vehicle too. My trick is putting it in my car as soon as I empty it. Body armor are good drinks. Kinders seasonings are fantastic. I recently bought a peach bourbon BBQ seasoning and I love it.
