More Mephiston content, please and thank you. Seriously, Mephiston is so well developed, reminds me of Malcador. Mephiston is stupidly OP, but it fits. It never feels "Wrong" him being so strong because it happened over years, decade, and it just fits in the setting. In this way he reminds me of Malcador. Malcador was silly OP but it just fit the setting and story.

Considering the only one who is a more powerful psyker than Magnus is Big E, I would have to agree. Ahriman is a badass and earned his position of Legion Master of the chapter with the most powerful psykers in the emperium, but it took him and a cabal of the most powerful psykers in the chapter to cast the Rubric spell. Magnus teleported an entire planet into the warp

@@Makorzemephiston is very powerful, but Ahriman is also a powerful psyker, not to mention a sorcerer. Mephiston is still learning what his abilities can do, Ahriman is already a master of both psychic and magical powers. Not saying that Mephiston can't win, if anything he's one of the few in the Imperium who could match Ahriman blow for blow, but Ahriman shouldn't be underestimated.

Arhiman is powerful but he has not been pushed to the edge and I fear he never will... he's too much of a schemer (and a bit of a coward) to risk himself falling into such a situation. The ONLY situation he might is if GW finally allow Ahriman to find away to reverse the Rubric and really push Arhiman through the wringer.

I like this Mephiston has a version of the power armor that has an armored collar between his cauldron shoulder pads , procecting the back of his head , this is appealing to ke be lcause i recently had a traumatic brain injury and when i watch comic convention with all the real people who created real suits of power armor to suit up and walk around the crowds of people , it makes my injury feel less pain to get the visual aid to help me imagine how to feel oess vulnerable with this nurological injury that is a complex headache and this version of the armored collar that Mephiston has on his unigue power armor is awsome .

One of my favorite characters in 40k. His power is something like a Grey Knight SGM. I doubt he could mind duel Magnus. He required some help from his fellow librarians when fending off Kabanda. That said, he is absolutely one of the most powerful characters in the current time line. Side note: the voice used for him in the audio version of Devastation of Baal is just awful. He sounds like a cartoon villain talking through his nose. Amber King’s voice for him was spot on. Oh and the voice used for him in Angels of Death was good too.

I think Mathiston is around Ahriman’s level. I think realistically, the only other psykers at or above Magnus are big E, Malcador, Eldrad, and the very gods themselves.

If you think about it melee spacemarine chapters can be defited with magnetic mines with highly trained infatry

Blood Angels aren't just melee, they are melee shock troops that favour rapid ingress with jump packs etc. Magnetic mines would only work with an enemy you know are going on foot or by ground transport. Not much use against thunder hawks, storm ravens , drop pods, or jump packs; minefields can equally be easily defeated as you just contact your guard allies and get their artillery to creeping barrage the minefield before you mount your attack. In regards to a well trained infantry, pretty much the same issues.
