This 1971 Mercedes 280SL Pagoda is the largest detailing job we've ever done! This classic Mercedes came straight to us from Bring a Trailer and we had our work cut out for us. We spent 5 days dry ice cleaning, 1+ day polishing the chrome, and at least 3 days on paint correction. We didn't even touch the soft top!
The paint on this Mercedes Benz 280SL Pagoda was in dire shape and really thin. This job was so big that we split it in to two episodes! In this first video, we tackle the dry ice cleaning on this Mercedes 280SL cabriolet. After dry ice cleaning the undercarriage, engine bay, wheel wells, and the interior, we cleaned up the wheels and had the undercarriage painted just like it was when it left the factory.
We're going to be trying out some new video formats while keeping true to the content that brought you all here in the first place. This one feels like a pretty good ASMR ;)
