Hallo WaveCeptor, klasse Video, wie üblich ;-) Ich hätte eine Frage bitte. Könntest Du mir deine Meinung/Einschätzung sagen wie es mit Wartungs- Reparaturarbeiten bei der A-Klasse ist? Man hört viel negatives, es sei alles sehr kompliziert zu schrauben usw. Ich bin Hobbyschrauber und fahre eine C und E-Klasse. Alle Wartungsarbeiten führe ich selber durch (auch deine Videos haben da immer geholfen, besten Dank ;-)) habe auch bei meinem damaligen W203 die Ansaugbrücke erneuert. Habe also etwas Erfahrung und, meine Meinung nach eine recht gut ausgestattete Heimwerkstatt. Aber leider KEINE Hebebühne. Vielen Dank Gruß

I wish more manufacturers would have the sump plug at the bottom rear of their engines, better for us DIY mechanics doing this with the front jacked up.

@Wave Ceptor: Congratulations! You are doing a great job! I intend to replace the accessories belt (serpentine belt) at my A 200 W169 from 2006. Could you tell me please which steps I should follow to get to the belt? Thank you!

@@shugthehornyhaggis no there is a special tool for detensioning the belt it is 35€ on amazon or ebay and that makes the job easy.. 20-30min if it is your first time 15mm belt de-tensioner with some stud on the end zum Spannen der Spannrolle erleichtert das Auflegen des Keilrippenriemens passend für Mercedes-Benz Typ: 168, 169 (A-Klasse), 245 (B-Klasse) Länge: 620 mm Schlüsselweite: 15 mm zu verwenden wie W166589000300

Lower the engine.. Mission change the 3 pulleys as well.. 5 hour job... Or 1600£ at mercedes

You need to lower the engine for that. And while you're at it, change everything else as well. Engine position in A and B class from that era is a nightmare. Absolute nightmare.

Hy mate,i have mercedes benz a class A170 ..a 2 months ago heating work without problems,when i comeback from holliday heating dont have power like before..come a little warm air inside the car but not like before,when was winter in 2 minute was warm in the car..you know what can be the problem?

There isn't a MAF on the A150 there's a MAP sensor bolted right to the side of the engine. If you follow other KZfaq guides you will also find there's a charge air temperature sensor inside of that plastic runner/VLIM housing almost sitting in there like a lightbulb. Remove carefully and clean with maf spray being super careful not to damage the filaments

Is this the same engine as in the w245 b class? 1.5l petrol, mounted at a shallow angle to slide underneath the car in the case of a head on crash?

Capacity 5 litres, get good quality fully synthetic 5w30 that meets mercedes standard MB 229.51

This car takes 4,6 Liter (official 5 liter but in my opinion it's a bit to much). I used 0W40 oil.

Für was wird beim Ölfilter der kleine O-Ring gebraucht? Was ist der Sinn?

Der wird nicht wirklich gebraucht, den kann man auch einfach weg lassen. Die Idee von Mercedes war woll das man das Ölfiltergehäuse mit dem Werkzeug nach dem lösen auch herausnehmen kann, da der O-Ring sich an der Nuß festhält.

Hallo waveceptor, bei meinem cla 45 soll die bremsflüssigkeit erneuert werden laut Service b1 plus. Kannst du mir sagen welche ich verwenden soll? Und beim Motoröl ist es egal ob ich 0w-40 oder 5w-40 nehme? Da es beides auf dem serviceblatt steht? Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Hi, ich hab bei meinem immer original Bremsflüssigkeit verwendet. Hat die Teilenummer A0009890807. Online gibt es einige Angebote wie hier: www.pkwteile.de/febi-bilstein/1881410. Benötigt wird ein Liter. Bei AMG Motoren kannst du 0W40 oder 5W40 nehmen. Wichtig ist aber auch die Freigabe 229.5.

Muss heute auch ran und Öl-Wechseln, kannst du mir vielleicht sagen wie viel Öl da rein machen muss damit ich nicht zuviel rein mache, hab Castrol 5w30 50l und auch einen w169 a150. Wäre cool wenn du antwortest. Danke

Vorgegeben von Mercedes sind genau 5 Liter. Ich mache aber immer ca. 4,6 - 4,7 Liter rein, damit der Ölstand schön zwischen Min und Max ist.

Nur habe ich leider immernoch dieses klackern im Motorraum, hast du Erfahrung damit und mir Tipps geben. 860000 hat er erst drauf denke nicht das es die Hydrostößel sind. Wäre dir dankbar wenn du dir Zeit für mich nimmst. Gruß aus Augsburg

@@eateam28 After Mobil 1 changed the composition for their oil my new favourite is Shell. The oil is made out of natural gas. Thereby the oil is clean and free of pollutions.
