Verwendetes Öl: amzn.to/1doWpqv
Der Motor sollte beim Ölwechsel Betriebstemperatur haben. Achtung beim Ölablassen: Heißes Motorenöl!
Das Altöl muss Umweltgerecht entsorgt werden! Am besten bei einer Altölannahmestelle.
Motoröl langsam auffüllen! Am besten eignet sich hierfür ein dünner Trichter. Wird das Motoröl zu schnell aufgefüllt gelangt es über die Motorentlüftung in das Ansaugsystem!
Motorölfüllmenge beim Motor M133 (AMG): 5,5 Liter.
Für den Ölwechsel benötigtes Werkzeug:
27er Nuss (Ölfiltergehäuse), 13er Nuss (Ölablassschraube); 8er Nuss am besten mit Akkuschrauber (für die Motorverkleidung).

The engine shoult have operating temperature while changing oil. Caution: Hot engine oil!
The oil filter and the seal ring have to be renewed.
You have to fill up the motor oil slowly best with using a thin funnel.
Oil capacity for M133 (AMG) engine: 5,5 liters.
For the oil change necessary tools:
27 mm and 13mm socket wrench (for oil filter and oil drain plug); 8mm socket wrench best with a cordless screwdriver (for the engine casing).

Super Video !! Hab nen CLA45 und denke mal, dass da alles identisch ist. Werde es aber auch von der Werkstatt machen lassen. Das Öl besorge ich aber schön brav selber ;-) In ebay kosten momentan von dem MOBIL1 0W-40 2x5L 72,95€ natürlich Versand KOSTENLOS. Weiter so !! Hab deinen Kanal gleich abonniert :-))))

+Luiz Guilherme No. To change the fuel filter you have to dismount the fuel tank. This work have to be done every 10 years or 200.000 km.

Cool video. Has Mercedes went back to using dipsticks on all of their engines? I remember for a while they had that level sensor to give you the correct level on the instrument cluster.

StopDropandLOL Yes, you´re right. The new models all have dipsticks on their engines. In the past there were some models like the R230 SL-class or the W211 E-class which don´t had a dipstick.

Der Getriebeölwechsel ist ohne Spezalwerkzeug und Diagnosesystem von Mercedes nicht möglich. Das Video würde nichts bringen, da diese Arbeit nicht ohne weiteres durchgeführt werden kann :(

Very good, especially with turbo engines it's very very very important to keep e'thing clean. Mostly debris in oil or intake air are the cause of turbo failure, change oil, oil filter and air filter as recommended interval by manufacturer. Don't forget to vacuum clean the air filter house before you take out the air filter. When you chiptune the engine always do it by a specialist who also can measure the temperature, too much heat development is bye bye turbo and then bye bye engine. Never use an open air filter if you love your turbo!

I'm not a big fan of the MB orange plastic-tipped dip stick design on these engines because they are difficult to read with fresh oil. The older flat faced (metal) sticks were easier to read and more consistent. The video however is excellent.

I think the best oil for AMG engnines is 0W40. Here in Germany only 0W40 and 5W40 is allowed to use in AMG engines.

Hi! Loved your videos. I need help where to find the jacking points for cla 45 so i could put the jack stands. I dont have a lifter. Can i use a vacuum pump to take out the oil so i dont have to jack the car up? Thank you

Its not allowed to use a vacuum pump on AMG models. You have to remove the oil drain plug to change the oil. The jacking points are quite easy to find. They look like black plastic squares. Maybe this video can help you (at 0:45): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/npmFptCLqtiwoas.html

Man muss beim abmontieren der Motorabdeckung vorsichtig sein. Man darf nicht im Bereich des Sterns nach oben ziehen.

+MikeyD its the same procedure. Maybe you got a different engine cover underneath the engine. You can order the parts at your mercedes dealer. You only need the oil filter, seal ring and the oil (i recommend mobil 1 new life 0W-40).

Thats the coolant reservoir for the intercooler system. I change the oil every year (5000 km).

I must have missed that ! Do you have any idea if the new C63 engine ( M177 ) will need to have the oil coolers drained like you did in your SLS amg ? or since it has a wet-slump system it won't need one. Thanks in advance.

Bei Mercedes ist das Öl ziemlch teuer, also empfehle ich den Kauf im Internet. Für einen Benziner (erforderliche MB-Freigabe: 229.5) ist das in der Beschreibung verlinkte Öl eines der Besten die man bekommen kann.

Bro save your money, go buy a KN air intake filter 4" with a flange to set up properly. Same gains 1/4 cost. I'm doing this to my A45. Also look at willall for your ECU would state as the best ECU tune on market, of course you might find a garage that can do something similar but for a over the counter product with assured stats go with them... Gains on current gen a45 is 280kw to 310-15 depending on minor factors, add with the KN intake filter that's a huge jump in power sitting at about $2,500 Australian. This is my build but waiting on my car warranty to finish before mucking with ECU

@@almanu04 you can buy KN filters on eBay buy most car shops like super cheap auto or any autoware shop will have them... It's important to remember you 9/10 times need to change the flange/connection from the piping to the filter itself... For example. My A45 has a stock 2.5" filter. I can put a 4" filter no problem, but the connection it will fit to is still 2.5" so you "funnel" your air meaning the cost of the new filter is pointless. From the connection to the piping that goes into the system will be 4" for some stupid reason they weedle it down to less than 3" maybe for emission laws? I hope this makes sense. Just Google and do your homework. It's very accessible

Maybe it would've been a good ideea to make that plastic end dipstick white for better contrast...when the oil is new it's kind a hard to check the level..that goes for all brands ....however after a few km the colour turns to black and everyhing goes back to normal.. very good job...keep it up

1) Make sure the engine is at operating temperature. 2) Put the engine out and wait for a couple of minutes 3) Pull the dip stick out and clean the measuring area with a clean cloth 4) Put the dip stick back till the limit stop, wait for 3-5 seconds, pull it out again 5) The oil level should be between the Max and Min marking.

No, there is no risk. Both oils, 0W40 and 5W40 are suitable for AMG engines.

At low temperature the 5W40 oil is a little bit viscouser than the 0W40 oil. At high temperature both oils viscosity ist identical.

First of all you shouldn't really switch on the engine unless you know for sure there is adequate oil. Checking the oil after the engine has been on for a few mins will in fact adjust and lower the oil dip readings because the oil is circled through the engine. So therefore topping the oil immediately isn't really a good idea as you could be over filling. Not really a good video if you ask me and why on earth do you use the same rag to clean the rocker cover? - I'm so glad I do my own oil changes. :)

+Sergio Victor yes but there's still old oil in the oil canals so in fact you can not get a lower oil level by turning the engine on for a few minutes.
