Especially in countries like Austria or Sweden, where mandatory technical review is very detailed. This car has V6, while a typical new car in the EU has inline 3. It means two times as much sparkplugs, pistons, probably belts too, and high consumption. I mean average gas price in Austria is 1,64€ per liter. This car's design is very complicated, it's German engineering. It contains a lot of complicated hi-tech stuff like 4matic, VVT, tumble flaps and electronic coolant control, which can break and will break... and you must have money to repair it. The engine is a lot more advanced than all those hemi ford trucks you probably own in the US. This isn't America. This is Germany.

Yea it interesting, usually the reason these cars end up there is because it could have been stolen from the US or Canada and shipped or a lot of time it’s a car that might have been in a wreck and was totaled in so it’s bought and shipped over to be fixed for cheap and sold

You obviously don´t know about this model of Mercedes, but it has decent engines with efficiency and good power output. + it has a timeless design and looks great with AMG alloys and the right engine it doesnt need to hide on the Autobahn. Have one since 2018 without any problem (only one electronic problem, but that´s a common thing on it. Got the M272 3.0l engine and it works just reliable with decent performance . )
