If your W204/C Class doesn’t have powered headrest and are manual, there is a much easier way to remove them because you don’t need to unplug the yellow connector because manual headrests don’t have that power cord. Take an aluminum soda can like he did and cut out a rectangle about 1 inch wide by 3 inches long. That’s just rough dimensions, you can trim it down a little if need be but just be careful because the aluminum edges will be sharp. The headrest pole has notches cut in it that catches to raise and lower it into position. Slide the aluminum shim around the headrest pole FROM THE TOP, there’s no need on non powered headrests to remove the seat back because you don’t need to unplug that yellow wire connector.

You really don't need the shim from the can, there is a push release for the left rail rod. Just push it in to pull up the headrest, it bypass the position stops notches. You see it at the 3-7 second mark of the video.

Danke für den Tipp. Und falls das mal einer von Mercedes-Benz hier lesen sollte: Die eingebaute Sperre da links ist der allergrößte Quatsch. Welch ein Schwachsinn. Nur weil rechts ein Kabel in die Stütze läuft. Habe die Sperren nun weggeflext, damit ich die Stutzen jederzeit von oben entnehmen kann. Früher war halt doch alles besser.
