Best mercedes diesel engine you can get, is the engine management light on?

@@mercmantips so there's no eml on mate, but codes in there. Getting a few codes up including check glow plug, check egr and a left egr positioner code, check high pressure control, check component N10/1... If you delete them all the car revs perfect for maybe 10 secs then back to no revs, or very slow rising revs. Loads of white smoke once its in that state. None when it revs ok though.

@stemartin6671 it could be the EGR valve quite easy to replace

@@mercmantips I had my suspicions about it tbf, if I remove it and blank it to test it, that should help identify it shouldn't it?
