i have a 06 mercedes e350 i purchased from auction as a no start. i am getting code p2101 throttle valve actuator position throttle valve. im not sure if thats why its not starting. im getting gas to fuel rail.

2007 SL550 sometimes wont start. Cranks until cycle times out. After several attempts it finally starts. Local shop changed sensor, but still intermittently does the same thing. Local shop also indicated that it could be the fuel pump sensor. Your thoughts on this idea? Now getting a P2421 Evap System Vent Valve. Checked it out and it is closed when disconnected but not sure how to check if it is opening.

I have a 2007 c230 with p2004 for manifold control stuck open Bank 1 Car occasionally will crank but won't start just like you showed in the video but no other codes. Also the plastic triangle on the intake manifold is not broken and all rods are connected on the intake. Any help is appreciated 👍

Hey man great videos. I'm having the same long cranking when trying to start on a warm engine and my car is a 2010 e550 coupe. I have no codes but I changed the camshaft sensors, the fuel pumps, the crankshaft position sensor, the battery. The dealership changed the starter 2 years ago because it was doing long cranking but this long cranking is much worse. I believe it is the starter again because even when they first put it in it didn't sound like it had any pep...but the dealer denies it (I'm sure they didnt' bench test it, they possibly didn't even test the voltage). Lastly, I discovered when I tap the gas pedal during long cranking it will start everytime... sometimes when I let it long crank it will kill the battery and not start.

I have a 2007 S550 The problem happened I believe once I ran through a huge puddle of water. I went to drive it and the headlights start blinking but they were in the off position. The esp light message say it's inoperative also rght front air bag says inoperative and the tire pressure gauge says inoperative. Sometimes it won't crank at all. Sometimes it cranks and when I turn off yhe engine the headlights remain on and I can hear a clicking sound from the engine area.

Believe it or not I am getting a POA47 code which is related to a hybrid yet I have an 08 CLS 550 which is now cranking but not starting. It has new fuel pump, all new spark plugs has perfect compression and all new fuel lines and the coils are new etc. Either have shot cam magnets or bad cam but at least it used to start. You have the best Mercedes videos by the way.

My pumps in the back are not turning on, that I can hear after I removed the back seat. Do u think the volume sensor will cause the rear pumps to not work. Or vise versa. Need help bad.

2008 ml350 triangle warning ⚠️ flashing after first gear ,then stalls to exhilarate will have problems firing up crank no start in morning . Any suggestions pls I was starting to maintenance it got the rear cam shaft cover replcd and throttle body and mass sensor cleaned, replace the actuators and runner arm with new metal ones.. tune up done 👍 .i hope I can find this problem .drive front break wear sensor harness is missing ,,🤔

Camshaft sensors rarely go bad , they are Hall effects magnet sensor , remove and clean and reinstall , if your M271/M272 V6 is throwing cam sensors codes and your over 100K miles you have a stretched timing chain

Hello thanks for the video but I think my problem is different. I have a 2008 c230 2.5 V6. It cranks but does not start most of the time. There are no DTC codes. My mechanic says the engine cylinder has scratches. Would this cause the no start? The engine has only 67k miles.

I have a 2007 CLK 350 with the same problem. It starts first time on some other days and some it doesn't. I have checked the fuel pressure on the injector rail and there's none coming out. Can it be that the fuel pump is gone or what?

Hey, I watch a lot of your videos on the 01 SLK230. I bought my first one as a project but learned a very quick lesson in mechanics. Can you advise me? Purchased in San Antonio and decided to road test it back to Phoenix. However I got 200 miles and the fuel stop flowing to the engine. I end up having the car transported. Upon arrival I did my research and narrowed down to the fuel pump and filter as a whole BUT, I noticed there was a radio type static every 15 seconds coming from the battery side of the car sounding like it was in the glovebox. The windows and roof were part of this repair project because neither worked. Since I'm a Retired Disabled Vet, I needed something to occupy my aches and pains... Lol 😂 😂 . SO, any advise besides sell it and run will help with mental therapy and a chance to drive this 6 speed Roadster once more! Thanks in advance not desperate but patient!

Mine is definitely npt the harness. The guy who sold it to me mentioned he replaced the fuel relay, which is a larger 5 prong fuse located in the trunk. Every time before now i was able to blow in the female fuze hole and blow off the prong and get a start. I did notice it appeared like the fuel relay was quite warm to touch. Now i cant get a start even with my blow trick. Sigh. I even took a leaf blower to it. SERIOUSLY. I ordered a new relay for $11 plus shipping and await to see if the previous owner got a glitchy one or if my problem is related to the fuel pump.

I have a C 250 that needed ignition coils to be changed. The spark plugs were replaced 1st. It was still misfiring after spark plugs were changed.So now ordered the ignition coils & was waiting for parts. While waiting my wife took the car to run 1 errand. And on the way back the engine light came on. Then engine light started to blink twice on the second blink. Car turned off. Any idea why a Mercedes’ would do that ?

The car is very heavy on fuel so I took it in they told me I must do a stage 1 then the fule will be much better but it wasn't. The car started to crank but wount sturt but if you put jumpers on it it starts. The battery is a new battery so I took it back to where the software whas don so he told me its the glow plug module so today I got one and fitted it so my obd said that glow plug 4 is faulty so I replace it also. The car still do the same

Hi Keith, I have a 2009 gl450 the issue Is the vehicle doesn't start the codes are P0348 (left intake camshaft hall sensor) short circuit to positive or open circuit, p2092 (left camshaft intake solenoid) has a short circuit to ground, p2090 (left camshaft exhaust solenoid) has a short circuit to ground and cylinders 5,2,3,8 are misfiring. The vehicle was fine I was changing the right side mirror blinker and there were 3 broken wires and I started testing which wire goes to the blinker and the puddle light when I put everything together didn't want to start, I have checked every single fuse even the ones in the jump starter terminal but they all good, I'd really appreciate your help

Hey I’m having the same problems crank but no start I have a 07 s550 funny thing about this if I let the sit 4 or 5 days it will start right up with problems turn it off it starts again and drive with no problem but sitting several hours it want start until I let it sit again I noticed when steering wheel don’t move when I turn ignition on that’s when it want start….any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

My ML350 2010 will turn over and sounds like it wants to start but then it dies. After about an hour it will start right up. I had it towed once to the repair shop when it wouldn't start but when they went to service it, it started right up. They also ran a diagnostic test and there were no errors. It still does this. Hi there, thanks for your very informative videos. I have a 07 mercedes E350 it cranks but no start. Its getting fuel at the rails. Once I get it to start it runs well at idle and other times it starts to idle rough then shuts off and won't start again for a hour or 2. It all started acting this way after my trip to the gas station. Once fill up and was ready to leave it refused to start. It finally did after 15 minutes and started acting strange ever since.
