Күн бұрынBought a second hand w204 shift knob. In this video I clean and restore the black leather on the knob. This is a full guide on how to replace your shift knob, including removing the knob from the leather boot, which I haven’t found any videos illustrating.

How did you get the leather base to pop out?

Check 4:20. I used a 13 mm socket to pinch the tabs while pulling ay the same time. Check it out and let me know if it’s still unclear.
