is ther any way to show me how both port and starboard sides , two black wires on each one that both the bullet connectors has been cut off for some reason .. i need to see where they, the port and starboard wires connect inside the boats wiring harness.. my engine didn't have a reset switch so i dont know where or color of wires that connect to on inside of boat.. looks like the bullet connectors have been cut out of both sides of wiring harness......................my 3.0 mercruser is a 2004. it for most parts look same harness as yours, only diff. i can see is mine has elect. distributor and diff. type coil. can you help? thank you

When I try to go up or down I hear a clicking sound, and if I'm continuing trying to go up or down then it works, but it does it all the time. Do you think are the solenoids?

Hi Mike, great video, thanks! I have done everything you have suggested but the motor still wont trim up. Trailer mode works fine. I dont know what else to try - any suggestions?

Hi Mike, Ive tried everything, and the motor still wont trim up. The green and blue wires when used on their own work fine. Inside the power lever the purple wire associated with the trim limit switch is connected to the "up" toggle switch on the power lever but doesnt seem to have any current running to it when I have checked the connections with a multi-meter. (Trim limiter is brand new and has been installed correctly - I think anyway.) The green wire is connected to the down and the blue is connected to the trailering switch. (which both work as normal) The strange thing is that everything was working perfectly a few months ago and then this problem just pooped up. Even with the motor running, supplying good charge to the battery it still wont trim up. I havent used the boat out on the water for some time, so im really at a loss. Any help would be great, thanks.
