tv show: grey's anatomy (s1-17).
song: where's my love (syml; piano/ alternate version).
spoilers for after season 11, so.... you know what that means.
it's nice to know that after all these years I still think meredith and derek's love is very precious and the stuff of legend (once/ if you see my next edit you will know why this phrase is on my mind) so it makes perfect sense for me to upload this today of all days. (idk if valentine's day is celebrated in every culture, I doubt that, and obviously there are always more important things going on in the world than little stupid holidays (but if you think like that all the time then you will never experience happiness), and you should show your love towards someone not just on one day of the year but it's still a nice thing to have a day dedicated to love (theoretically).) I suppose eros would be proud (guess who is into greek mythology as of late).
also props to me for not giving up because exporting this took i think four days and that is three and a half days over my tolerance (I usually need to do that twenty times for every edit and lose my nerves at the end of it each time, but this one.... unbridled rage at my hard drive that disconnected every other minute and caused my editing program to crash at the most convenient times, I'm telling you).
and then I faltered while uploading the cover because I needed background noise and decided on oneus' cover of lovesick girls and thus I was no longer able to give this edit my full attention. (you can understand)
p.s.: dr. derek christopher sheperd's death is another one of my top three worst character deaths riiiight after arthur pendragon's.... and grey's was one of the first adult tv shows I've watched, so these characters have been with me for a while.
pps: you obviously don't know what my edits look like before I settle on a final version or what older edits of mine look like so you will not believe how much I had to change v1.2 of this edit to make it look like this one. I started this last year (2022 but that's bascially last year) and can't believe how many of my editing habits and ways of editing have changed since then. most predominantely the audio editing... still hate it, it's still one of my most hated adversaries, but compared to my old edits it has gotten better, believe it or not.
ppps: I like ranting in the captions though I'm convicned no one ever reads them but 'tis very much fun. (I do it for me).
