Dream Build Video the new 2023 Merida One Sixty / One Forty Mountainbike. The new Merida frame can be used via Flipchip in two versions. For enduro use in Mullet version with 27.5" and 160mm travel on the rear wheel and on the front wheel with 29" and 170mm travel. For this Dreambuild we have chosen the second version for trail use with 140mm travel and 29" on the rear wheel and 140-150mm and 29" on the front wheel. We have equipped the bike with the brand new 2024 Manitou Mattoc fork and the still very rare TRP TR12 shifting group. The cockpit is from Answer, the wheelset from Ringle. Have fun with the video.

Der neue Merida Rahmen kann mittels Flipchip in zwei Version genutzt werden. Für den Enduro Einsatz in Mullet Ausführung mit 27,5" und 160mm Federweg am Hinterrad und am Vorderrad mit 29" und 170mm Federweg. Für dieses Dreambuild haben wir uns für die zweite Variante entschieden für den Traileinsatz mit 140mm Federweg und 29" am Hinterrad und 140-150mm und 29" am Vorderrad. Ausgestattet haben wir das Rad mit der Brandneuen 2024 Manitou Mattoc Gabel und der noch sehr seltenen TRP TR12 Schaltgruppe. Das Cockpit stammt aus dem Hause Answer, der Laufradsatz von Ringle. Am I able to make a one-forty frame to one-sixty by changing the rear shock(stroke) and fork to higher travels?

stop cutting steerer tubes so short...................

you can always get a riser bar 😉 We're cutting them to the preference of rider who is actually gonna ride the bike. So it's really down to personal preference 👍

yeah, no, kinda both 😅 the frames are actually the same 😬 but if your running a 29" rear wheel and change the setting at the flip chip you get 140mm rear wheel travel.
