At the end she became a vilain. A heartless person. But that was clearly not her fault. She was manipulated by Morgause, she was afraid of her power so she was really vulnerable. Merlin should have helped, even if Gaius and the Lizard said the contrary. He tried but it wasn't enough. He should have tell her that he was himself a warlock. And you can add that Merlin, arguably the person she trusted the most, her likely best friend, betrayed her, giving Morgause another opportunity for manipulation.

I think, "Sometimes you have to do what is right and damn the consequences" is also a really good one.

The reason why authur saw magic has evil was because of how morgana changed. He literally saved a woman with magic in season 5. He saved the woman from been killed by those people because of her magic

I'll be honest, I really appreciate Morgana for her goodness but also for her dark side and I have a lot of empathy for her but I don't condone all of her actions. Despite what she claims, when she falls into darkness, she only cares about power, consumed by rage, the way Uther treated her, she thinks she deserves what is rightfully hers and despise others. The magical community takes a back seat to his rage. She no longer has any respect for human life, even for her family, as she says, and we see this on several occasions. I don't think she had to rise up against Arthur to the point of wanting him dead, he was much more understanding than Uther and with time besides he finally heard reason about magic thanks to Merlin and he would have could do it for Morgana as well, even after her betrayal, he never really hated him compared to her. And let's say she resents Uther, Arthur, Gauis and Merlin for backing up that anti-magic voice at Camelot, why pick on Guinevere. Morgana had no qualms or remorse about trying to kill the one who had always been her friend just for power. She had no reason to hate her on the contrary, she who had always been there for Morgana during the hard times, she forgets all that to get the throne of Camelot. Their friendship therefore does not weigh more than that against obtaining power. I'm sorry although I like Morgana, her actions show that she has lost all regard for human life by gradually becoming the same one she hated, Uther. It's really sad.

Hmmm… Merlin went though all of that too and didn’t go bad 🤡 Same w/ Gaius. Hmmm… I seem to remember Morgana strangling “her people,” her eyes flashing amber while she screamed “I WANT HIM DEAD!!” about Arthur. But she’s sooooo persecuted lol. Morgana didn’t want a kingdom to protect magic people. Wasn’t even her idea! MORGEAUSE told her she wanted her to assume the throne in Fires of Idoles or whatever it’s called or somewhere around there. Morgana tortured her own dad, though he was an asshole. And Uther couldn’t kill Morgana. She didn’t fear for her life. Please. Spare me. She could just blast the cell open or unlock it like everybody else with magic does. Anyone chasing her…she could just light their ass up, launching them into whatever she pleased. Morgana always had an evil smile, even when she was first turned evil. She was sociopathic and enjoyed hurting others. And hell yeah Merlin should have poisoned her. Her life isn’t worth more than EVERYONE ELSE’S in Camelot combined.
