Why so many people can't get over this series? Friendship between two men or two women have been often dealt with. But...Merlin is different because the writers wanted it to be that way even if it was a family show. Nobody can't ignore the way they look at each other while the wife was not around or when they went hunting, battling and so on. It never bothered me that they were soulmates and lovers.

Thank you, for not shipping them. You were able to make such a great video with their undeniably profound soulmate bond. I actually got a little teary-eyed. I love your use of the quote that basically revolves around the entire video as its a giant reminiscence of their relationship and how much they mean to one another told from multiple points of view in addition to their own- that ending is what got me and the quote after just sealed the deal. Well done.

if I were Arthur my love for Merlin would be even more pronounced and certainly more visible and tangible for Merlin. it might give Merlin ideas but hey, I'm much more modern than his Arthur and can stomach anything as long as Merlin stays by my side. nah, who am I kidding? I'm madly in love with Colin
