Merlin must continue in his destiny to protect Camelot and the young Prince Arthur using his special gift: magic. But King Uther has banned the practice of sorcery and Merlin must keep his talents secret on pain of death. As many dangers threaten the mythic city, Arthur must show great courage and skill in order to defend the kingdom, with Merlin at his side.Gaius, the court physician, continues to provide Merlin with help and guidance. Gwen is as ever a stalwart friend to Merlin, helping where she can in his adventures with Arthur. Meanwhile, Morgana, the king's ward, is increasingly troubled by her dreams.

@5chocolatedragon I agree in series 1 I quite liked him I thought: his this the Lancelot from the legend? but in series 2 I would choose arthur, because he is so adorable with Gwen and he is the one who loves her for who she is

I think Lancelot is noble and good-looking in his own way, and if you asked me during series one at the very beginning I would have picked him. In series two (especially at the end) Arthur has grown so much, that to me, there is no contest.

@lilgreengurl yeah i kinda agree, she doesn't get the wardrobe and makeup morgana does, but she's a servant afterall, can't wait till she becomes queen! i'm glad angel got cast as gwen

I think because in the first series they had her dress a little frumpy because she was just a handmaiden. In series two she was able to dress a little nicer and wear her hair down more often. She is very beautiful, though. Her and Katie!

what a creepy skeez. no, morgana and gwen don't get an episode together, but sure you can mud wrestle. he is like half sexually harassing them there. they laugh it off, but seriously. seriously. how often is that going on that they LAUGH IT OFF BECAUSE ITS A RUNNING JOKE?

Exactly! She's not conventional looking but she's pretty as hell! The costume and makeup on the show don't do her justice though, or maybe her look just isn't suited for period drama, i don't know...

and i forgot two say. Angel said that The main thing about Gwen is the noble, but doesn't already tell everything. About the fact that she would NEVER EVER cheat arthur with Lancelot? I sincerly don't like Lancelot. I don't like the fact he stands between Arthur and Gwen and his stupid two emotional lines. "I would die for you one thousand times". I was literarly trowing up in that scene. BLUGG. sorry for this people!! Arwen Rules.
